14 colors from Aromaleigh's Hot in the City collection are made permanent! Good choices Miss K, all the 6 full sizes I already have, are now in permanent collection :D Yay! There still one pigment I'm going to miss: Rooftop Garden.

This collection is on a glittery side and so lovely! I love the contrasting sparkles in Girl's night out and Concrete jungle! My favorite form this cllection is of course AMAZING apple green: Coney Island.

Kokoelma on hieman glitterisen puoleinen ja aivan ihana, tykkään erityisesti Concrete Junglen ja Girl's night outin erivärisistä kimalteista! Ehdoton suosikkini on kuitenkin upea omenanvihreä Coney Island.

[EOTD] Aurora & Leif [NOTD] Wild Wisteria & Prisma Gloss

I was cleaning my makeup table and found a lovely pigment from LaurEss called "Aurora". I don't have many pigments from LaurEss but if you are looking for stylish and easy colors (for color addicts like me there might be other more interesting companies), that one company you should check :) The quality is very nice and shipping is cheap & fast. My favorites from LaurEss are Elemental foundation & Luminesce powder in "Glow".

Siivoilin meikkipöytääni ja löysin kauniin pigmentin LaurEssilta, sävyn nimi on Aurora. Minulla ei montaa sävyä LaurEssilta löydykään mutta jos etsin tyylikkäitä ja helppoja sävyjä, kannattaa kurkata LaurEssin valikoima (väriaddiktille kuten minä löytyy ehkä kiinnostavampiakin firmoja). Laatu on hyvä ja toimitus nopea & halpa. Omat suosikkini LaurEssilta ovat mm. Elemental foundation ja Luminesce "Glow" puuteri.

LaurEss Aurora: Lavender with bursts of green sparkle
Fyrinnae Delvian: a muted greyish blue-violet with a vibrant pink shimmer highlight.
Fyrinnae Leif: Brilliant shimmery green with pale copper sparkle.

NOTD with Orly's Wild Wisteria. The color is lovely and still looks bluer in the picture... Soon my cuticles will look better, just bought Leighton Denny Precision color corrector & brush from LookFantastic :D

Päivän kynnet Orlyn Wild Wisterialla. Olipa muuten järkevää aloittaa lakkaaminen puolilta öin :-o No onneksi Mavadry pelasti. Väri on todella nätti mutta näyttää sinisemmältä kuvassa kuin oikeasti onkaan. Ja pian kynsinauhat näyttävät siistimmiltä myös, yllä linkki juuri tilaamaani Leighton Dennyn color corrector & brush-settiin. Jatkossa pullon voi täyttää omalla putsarilla mutta tuota sivellintä erityisesti himoitsin :)





Although shaking Orly's Prima Gloss drives me crazy, I still LOVE the way it looks! It's like fine holographic shimmer.

Vaikkakin Orly Prisma Glossin ravistelu saa minut hulluksi, on tämä kyllä aivan upea! Näyttää aivan hienojakoiselta hologrammishimmeriltä. Tykkään!

[EOTD] Chaotic muse in Hong Kong

I still love Fyrinnae's City glam glitters ;) and my "wish list" is full of these too! These darker glitters work so well over dark eye shadows. I used Fyrinnae's Chaotic Muse and Lights of Hong Kong glitter over it. Unfortunately the lovely glitter doesn't show so well in the pictures... Why don't you have Lights of Helsinki yet, Fyrinnae? ;D I used Finnegan's wake on my lid and that color is just perfect! It's pink-beige-peach, works very well on browbone too.

Pidän siis vieläkin kovasti Fyrinnaen City Glam Glittereistä ;) ja toivomuslista on taas ihan täynnä näitä. Nämä tummemmat glitterit toimivat kivasti tumman luomivärin päällä. Käytin Fyrinnae luumuista Chaotic Musea ja Lights of Hong Kongia sen päällä. Hong Kong tuli muuten tuli hankittua ihan nimen perusteella, olen ihan heikkona Hong Kong-juttuihin :D Valitettavasti kaunis hohde ei juuri kuvassa näy... Ja miksei Fyrinnaella ole Lights of Helsinki-sävyä? ;D Käytin Finnegan's wakea luomella, aivan upea beige-v.pun.-persikka ja sopii loistavasti myös kulmaluulle!

Oh dear, I had a nice but long day at school today. I just started corporate management studies :) I feel so professional with all this new info today. LOL

Huh, oli hieman pidempi päivä kun pääsin ihan kouluelämääkin taas testaamaan ;) Yritysjohtaminen on alana ja onpas nyt ammattimainen olo & pää täynnä tietoa. *heh* Nyt on vuorossa kuitenkin päivän hömppäannos :D



What a beutiful nail polish! *love* Flyin High from China Glaze' Up&Away collection is simply WOW! It was very easy to apply and was opaque after 2 coats. I used one extra coat today, because this mani was a few days old (forgot to take pictures before).

Olipas kaunis lakka tämä China Glazen Flyin High (kevään Up&Away kokoelmasta). Levittyi kauniisti ja värihän on aivan upea! Lakka oli täysin peittävä 2 kerroksen jälkeen mutta laitoin kolmannen ennen kuvaa, lakkaus kun oli jo useamman päivän vanha (unohdin ottaa kuvat aiemmin).





I'm not very interesed in hair products: if I find something that works on my hair, I'll use it for years! I'm a cosmetics freak but I noticed yesterday that I have absolutely no shampoo left :-O No time to order new bottles of Giovanni so I had to buy just "something". In fact this Color Mate from Aussie was pretty good! Smells delicious too. I'll try new organic product later, I'll go to Germany this spring and organic products are so much cheaper there.

En ole kovinkaan innostunut tukkatuotteista ja kun löydän suosikkituotteen, käytän sitä tyytyväisenä vuosia! Kosmetiikkafriikiltä voi siis joku tuote loppua oikeasti keskenkin, tajusin nimittäin eilen ettei kaapista löydy enää edes shampoon jämiä (annoin aika kasan äidilleni juuri) ja tulikin kiire hankkia jotain tilalle. Itse asiassa tämä Aussien Color Mate ei ole lainkaan hullumpi. Pesi hyvin muttei liikaa ja tuoksu oli erittäin ihana. Kokeilen myöhemmin lisää eko-shampoita, työmatka Saksaan odottaa keväällä ja sieltähän noita saa halvalla.



I also bought false lashes :D Maybe it's about the time to try those, right? LOL

Hankin vihdoinkin myös tekoripset, eiköhän ollut jo aikakin? :D



And here is my very simple & natural EOTD. I didn't have much time in the morning, so I decided to use only one color on my lid and that was Aromaleigh's Gothic Lolita Shimmer in Dawnbright. And once again I noticed, that I look so weird wit just one color, so I added Sassy's Practically perfect on crease & lower lash line. Dawnbright is so pretty, I usually use it on browbone but it works very well as an eye shadow too!

Ja loppuun eritäin pikainen & simppeli meikki. Aikaa ei juuri meikkiin riittänyt, joten ajattelin laittaa luomelle vain pikaisesti Aromaleighin Gothic Lolita "Dawnbright" hohdetta (tätä voi käyttää vaikka koko kasvoilla). Näytän kuitenkin ihan hassulta vain yhden luomivärisävyn kanssa, joten lisäsin hieman Sassyn Practically Perfectiä sen seuraksi.

[EOTD] Fyrinnae Lights of Auckland glitter

As I already told you, I LOVE Fyrinnae's City Glam Glitters! Here is what Fyrinnae says about this lovely product:

I tried Lights of Auckland today as an eye shadow. I was a bit worried since I was in a hurry (haha, what a surprise ;). It was completely opaque but it sure looked damn good. The picture won't show you that lovely sparkle, I got so many compliments today :D The darker City Lights migt work best over regular eye shadows.
Kokeilin tänään Lights of Aucklandia luomivärinä. Hieman jännitti miltä näyttää ja kiirekin oli taas kova (miksen voi herätä ajoissa :P). Täysin peittävä tämä ei ollut mutta näytti törkeän hyvältä. Kuva ei alkuunkaan näytä sävyn ihanaa kimallusta, muutama tätä jopa tänään kehui :D Tummemmat glitterit näyttävät ehkä paremmilta tumman sävyn päällä.

I used Lights of Auckland with Geek Glam, it's "regular" eye shadow and gorgeous. I didn't foil the glitter, just applied over Detrivore primer.
Käytin Lights of Aucklandia Geek Glamin seurana, ihana sävy sekin ja ihan normaali-valikoimasta. Glitter on taputeltu kuivalla siveltimellä Detrivore primerin päälle.

Lights of Auckland: Pale mint green that looks like glittery light green foil when applied wet, and provides two hues of cheerful green sparkle when applied dry.
Geek Glam: Glowing, sparkling grean, leaning a bit to aqua. Quite reflective-looking on varying skintones.

Stardust Cosmetics EOTD & new collection coming soon

I just fell in love with Stardust pigmets :D I unfortunately didn't order the best colors for me in my first order... Good excuse to order some more? ;) I also read from Stardust's blog that most of the "unblended" pigments are now discontinued and replaced with Jenna's own creations. Yay! Of course we didn't think she was one of "those repackers", because she was so honest which pigments were unblended, but I'm so happy: her own colors are much prettier! The newest collection "Facettes de la Femme" will be released very soon (January 29th).
edit: At least in my monitor the darkness is not even close in some colors. Sateen looks quite dark but it's really quite light... Maybe that's why I didn't get so nice combos: I tried to get light+darker color, I'm not that interested in "medium" shades.

Ihania ovat nämä Stardustinkin pigmentit :) Laadussa ei ole moitittavaa, tilan vain ekassa tilauksessani itselleni vääriä sävyjä ja en sen takia heti näihin täysillä ihastunut. Luin myös Stardust Jennan blogista, että suurin osa "unblended" pigmenteistä poistuu nyt ja tilalle tulee Jennan omia sävyjä. Ei kai kukaan Stardustia "uudelleen pakkaajana" pitänytkään, koska suurin osa on aina ollut omia sävyjä ja nuo muokkaamattomat sävyt oli merkitty selvästi. Hyvä kuitenkin näin, Jennan omat sävyt ovat kauniimpia! Uusi kokoelma Facettes de la Femme tulee myyntiin kuun lopussa. Jee!

edittiä: katselin nyt noita pigmenttejä ja tummuus ei näytä alkuunkaan oikealta... Ehkäpä siksi en nyt niin hyviä yhdistelmiä saanutkaan. Esim Sateen näyttää sivuilla tummalta mutta on oikeasti aika vaalea (en tuota voisi kuvitellakaan varjostukseen).

Orly green comparison: Wandering Vine & Enchanted Forest

I love green nail polish and I'm always looking for that perfect green: dark but still definitely green ;) The difference between Orly's Enchanted Forest & Wandering Vine is not big but Enchanted forest is a tad darker and muted. Wandering Vine is in fact what I hoped Enchanted forest to be... Here is a few pictures:
Rakastan vihreää kynsilakkaa ja olenkin jo pidempään etsinyt sitä täydellistä vihreää: tumma mutta silti selvästi vihreä. Ero Orlyn Enchanted Forestin ja Wandering Vinen välillä ei ole suuren suuri, Enchanted Forest on aavistuksen tummempi ja sameampi sävyltään. Itse asiassa Wandering Vine on se sävy, jonka toivoin Enchanted Forestin olevan... Tässä muutamia kuvia:

Fyrinnae swatches

Once again, I can't believe my eyes... How can Fyrinnae's pigments be this beautiful? :D I was very impressed of City Lights glitters too! These are not like traditional glitter, much finer and these seem to adhere very well too! I swatched all the glitters & pigments dry over Lumene primer.
Ja taas kerran olen ihan ihmeissäni, siis miten näin kauniita pigmenttejä voi olla edes :D Olin todella yllättynyt myös City Lights glittereiden laadusta, nämä ovat paljon hienojakoisempia ja paremmin ihon tarttuvia kuin aiemmat glitterini. Näistä pidän todella ja taidan pari samplea tilata lisääkin ;) Kaikki swatchattu kuivana Lumenen primerin päälle.





All of the pigments were so beutiful but if I'd have to say my favorites, I'd say Immortality and Robot takeover. Immortality is amazing, much nicer irl.
Kaikki pigmentit ovat todella kauniita mutta jos suosikit pitäisi valita, olisivat ne Immortality ja Robot takeover. Immortality on aivan uskomattoman kaunis, nätimpi vielä luonnossa!

I really love Fyrinnae's Lip Lustres and now I found my favorite! Deceptive innocence is a PERFECT nude on my lips. I need full size of it, asap :D

Butterflies & Angels

I love butterflies! If I ever see children's clothes with butterflies, I always buy those for my lovely Mini. Just imagine what happened when saw this in local jewelry shop:
Olen ihan hulluna perhosiin ja haalin Minillekin kaikki mahdolliset perhosvaatteet yms. Voitte siis vain kuvitella, kun törmäsin korukaupassa tähän:



This Spinning Jewelry is very nice collection of rings, you can create your own combo and the price was very reasonable too! After buying that one, I had to put a Konad butterfly to my ring finger too, of course. I used Color Cub's Wild at heart, m25 plate & black Konad nail polish. Silver rings are from SpinningJewelry and the golden one is my wedding ring.
Kyseessä on Spinning Jewelry: kokoelma sormuksia, joita voi yhdistellä vapaasti. Hopeisia oli ihan varastossa mutta kultaiset pitää tilata, näin ainakin tässä Timanttiset-liikkeessä. Hintaa näillä oli 19€ (kapeat) ja 29€ (leveämmät). Pitihän minun toki saada sormuksen seuraksi perhoskynnetkin :) Käytin Color Clubin Wild at Heart-lakkaa, m25 Konad-laattaa sekä mustaa Konad-lakkaa. [EOTD] Beautiful Fyrinnae pigments & [NOTD] With Abandon

I wanted to use some of my favorite pigments from Fyrinnae :) I'm waiting for my new order and already planning to order some more. What a lovely colors!

The first look (turquoise) is my today's makeup. I usually wear turquoise in summertime but we were celebrating (finally :D) my son's 9th birthday. Turquoise is his favorite color and he has gorgeous turquoise eyes!
Ensimmäinen meikki on tämän päivän meikkini. Käytän turkoosia yleensä enemmän kesäisin mutta vietimme tänään (vihdoinkin :D) poikani 9-vuotissynttäreitä. Turkoosi on hänen lempivärinsä ja hyvin lähellä silmiensäkin väriä. On perinyt värin isältäni, silmäni ovat selvästi vihreät pojan silmien vieressä :D

Easy, Peasy, Breezy, Me wanted to see picture of Color Club's With Abandon, so here you are :D it's gorgeous and opaque after 2 coats. I don't usually like brown but this dark neutral brown with golden glitter is AMAZING!
Easy, peasy, Breezy, me toivoi nopeasti kuvaa Color Clubin With Abandon-lakasta, joten otin sen ensimmäiseksi testiin :) Aivan upea sävy ja oli peittävä kahdella kerroksella. En yleensä suuremmin ruskeasta perusta mutta tämä tumma (ei punertava) ruskea kultaisella glitterillä on nätti!

Oh, my poor cuticles! Mad as a Hatter was terrible to remove, I absolutely hated it! It's not worth it (I really don't like glitters).
Voi kynsinauharaukkani! Mad as a Hatter oli mahdoton poistaa, inhoan koko lakkaa! Ei vaivan arvoinen, sanon mä (mutta en muutenkaan glitteristä välitä).

Some new nail polishes, eco-cleansers etc

I'm stupid. Why I buy glitter nail polishes? I Know HATE glitters (gritty, terrible to remove and I dont even like the way glitters look) and still I bought these OPI Alice in Wonderland nail polishes. I think these looks much nicer in the bottle than in nails :D But if you like glitters, the color of Mad as a Hatter is very pretty! I used 3 coats for this picture and it's still not opaque.
Jep, olen tosiaan tyhmä. Tiedän hyvin, etten edes pidä glitter-lakoista (karkeita, kamalia poistaa eikä edes ulkonäkö miellytä) ja silti ostin nämä OPIn Alice lakat... Näyttävät kyllä todella kauniilta pulloissa mutta kynsillä en tykkää. Jos kuitenkin pidät glitteristä, Mad as a hatter on tosiaan kaunis sävyltään. Laitoin 3 kerrosta eikä ollut siltikään täysin peittävä.

Color Club Rule Breaker, Wild at Heart, With Abandon & Love 'em Leave 'em. the last one is the closest to mannequin hands I'll EVER go. LOL. This is really holo polish, holo effect is not that strong though.

Orly's prisma gloss (silver) is TERRIBLE! You have to shake the damn bottle for minutes, other wise it looks like this:

Some eco-cleanders for home. I REALLY love this stuff! Smells good too :) Especially bathroom cleanser is super-wonderful.
Näitä Attituden siivousaineita olen käyttänyt jo jonkin aikaa. Oi pakko näistäkin mainita, sillä mm. tuoksut ovat ihanat! Kylppäriputsari on erityisen hyvä, suosittelen! Hinta Ruohonjuuressa 6.05€/kpl.



I also bought this Depend nail polish remover. It's environmentally friendly and I think it's frendly to my nail too :) The smell is terrible though, but I guess you can't get everything in one product. LOL
Ostin myös uuden kynsilakanputsarin, äitini sai edellisen (hänkin innostui lakkaamisesta, jee). Tämä Dependin vihreä on luontoystävällinen ja ihoystävällinen. Tuntuu hiukan öljyiseltä. Haju on kamala mutta ei kai kaikkea voi saada samassa tuotteessa :D



I usually wear waterproof mascara and have an excellent remover for that: MUFE Sens' eyes. Sometimes I still need remover for non-waterproof eye makeup (if I make a mistake or want to change the eyeshadow for some reason). My eyes are quite sensitive and in those cases I can't rinse with water so well so it needs to be very mild. I told you about elysambre yesterday and today I bought their eye make-up remover. Feels very nice, it's not very effective but enough for me at least :)
Käytän yleensä vedenkestävää ripsaria ja putsarina toimii loistava MUFEn Sens' eyes. Toisinaan tarvitsen kuitenkin hellävaraista normaaliputsaria (silmämeikki pitää poistaa virheen tms takia). Silmäni ovat aika herkät ja kunnon huuhtelu vedellä ei noissa tapauksissa tule aina kysymykseen, joten Juvenan loputtua piti löytää uusi tuote. Kerroinkin eilen Elysambresta ja sarjalta löytyikin juuri sopiva tuote tähän tarkoitukseen. Tuntuu hyvältä, ei varmaan mikään huipputehokas mutta riittävä ainakin tähän käyttöön. Hinta Kauppatorin apteekissa 15.50€ (josta kanta-asiakkaille 4% alea eli 14.88€).
