Mary Kayn Satin Hands setti paransi käsieni tilannetta joulun alla mutta varsinkin kynsinauhat olivat aivan_järkyttävässä kunnossa... Tähän Seacretin kynsi-settiin kuuluu kiillotuskuutio, kynsiviila, kynsiöljy ja body lotion käsivoiteeksi.

Kiillotuskuutioita minulla onkin ennestään, ihan ok oli tämäkin. Näitä ei tosiaan kannata käyttää turhan usein, ettei ohenna kynttä liikaa. Myös kynsiviila oli ihan ok, parempiakin minulla toki on.

Kynsinauhaöljy on pääsääntöisesti mineraaliöljyä mutta onnistui pehmittämään kynsinauhani kuntoon 1.5 viikossa. Käytin monta kertaa päivässä, kun suositus on muistaakseni kerran viikossa. Tilanne oli siis aivan kammottava, kynsinauhani tuppaavat ottamaan kiinni kynteen ja repeämään sitten pahasti. Nyt kerran-pari viikossa varmasti taas riittääkin.

Pomegranate body lotion toimii ihan hyvin käsivoiteena. Tässä ei ole mineraaliöljyä mutta silikonia toki löytyy. Imeytyy suht nopeasti, tuoksu on ihana ja pehmitti ihoa mukavasti. Sarjan body butter on mielestäni jopa parempi käsivoiteena, siitä lisää kunhan olen testaillut enemmän :)

Paljon plussaa tuotteiden koosta: Body lotion 200ml ja cuticle oil 30 ml. Hinnasta en ole nyt ihan varma, noin 50€? Sain joulupukilta.

A gorgeous red lipstick from Lancôme: Le French Touch Absolu 102 "Rouge Saint-Honoré". Honestly, the regular price is too much for my taste but I usually find nice colors from sale.

Lancome Cult rouge silky cream/ limited edition. This really feels like silky cream on lips and I really liked this a lot! The color is perfect, very glamourous. Finish is glossy and it's pigmented.

The package is cute, small and quite heavy. It has a lovely vintage look. Size: 3 g (0.10 OZ).

Löysin tämän ihanuuden alesta, normaalihinta ( 30€) menee yleensä näissä yli kipurajani. Kyseessä on siis Lancomen Le French Touch Absolu viime syksyltä ja sävy on 102 Rouge Saint-Honoré. Laatu on tässä "silky cream", joka kuvaakin tätä hyvin. Aivan ihana kaikin puolin, laadussa ei mitään moittimista. Väri on upea, hyvin filmitähtimäinen :) Ihanan kosteuttava ja kiiltävä huulilla, pigmenttiä löytyy runsaasti. Ei todellakaan tarvitse lisäillä jatkuvasti.

Pakkaus on söötti, normaalia pienempi ja painavampi. Vintage lookia on haettu ja siinä onnistuttukin. Hylsyssä on huulipunaa 3 g.

Lancome meikkitaiteilija Aaron Mey ehdottaa testaamaan tätä myös poskilla. Itse en ole tätä nin testannut.

New favorite lipgloss... And it's discontinued! Mary Kay Nourishine "Melon Sorbet"

I found the lipgloss of my dreams :D It's almost like MAC Cremesheen Glass but it's cheaper and bigger (2.7g vs 7.75 g). Unfortunately this color, Melon Sorbet, is discontinued but I hope they will have other nice colors later! I bought a few, because I REALLY love this color.

Melon Sorbet Nourishine is shiny, a bit sticky (lasts nicely on lips), not shimmery and the color is sheer coral. I LOVE the scent of vanilla and this feels very nice on lips, not at all gritty.

Jo jopas tuli tehtyä löytö Mary Kayltä :D Nourishine lip gloss on juuri sellainen kuin olen jo pitkään etsinytkin, hieman pysyvämpi huulilla kuin MACn Cremesheen Glass ja kooltaan huomattavasti isompi. Olisin tosiaan aivan Cremesheen fani mutta laatu ei ole siinä pysyvä, tuotetta on vain 2.7g ja hintakin on kovempi. Tässä siis kokoa 7.75g. Pakkaus on siisti, "perusnätti". Harmikseni tämä Melon Sorbet-sävy poistuu valikoimista. Varmasti uudetkin ovat ihania mutta hankin näitä muutaman jemmaan, on tosiaan THE huulikiilto minulle!

Melon Sorbet Nourishine on kiiltävä mutta ilman kimallusta ja hieman tahmainen (=pysyy kivasti huulilla). Väri on läpikuultava koralli, aivan ihana kesäksi! Tuoksu on vaniljainen ja hyvin miellyttävä, koostumus on pehmoinen (ei yhtään karkea).

Uudet Nourishine Plus-kiillon sävyt löytyvät täältä. Eiköhän niistäkin suosikkeja löydy.

Kauneushoitola Karpalo/ Turku

Jipii, löysin niin ihanan kauneushoitolan :) Kävin aromahieronnassa Kauneushoitola Karpalossa (Länsikartano/ Turku) ja en voi kuin kehua. Paikka on todella idyllinen ja rauhallinen, hierontapöytä on TODELLA mukava (ei satu pää, niin kuin monessa hierontapöydässä ainakin minulla sattuu) ja hoito oli aivan täydellinen. Oma hierontani oli neroliöljyllä, rakastan nerolin tuoksua ja kaipa se vähän stressiäkin poistaa ;) I h a n a kokemus, suosittelen!

Aromahieronta 75 min 65eAromaterapia perustuu erilaisista kasveista, niiden kukista, lehdistä, hedelmistä, kuorista, pihkasta ja juurista eri tavoin saatuihin tuoksuihin. Dior Garden Party & spring collections

I always love spring collections, the colors usually a much better for me than fall colors! The most interesting sping collection for me this year is Dior Garden Party. I didn't buy anything YET but I'll get this gem: Garden pastels palette. The pigmentation was very good and the colors... PERFECT!

Voi apua, kevät on taas täynnä toinen toistaan ihanampia kokoelmia... Onneksi yleensä suosikkituotteideni hinta ja pigmentin määrä ei ole minusta ihan kohdillaan, näin säästyvät rahat ;) Mutta nyt on varmaan pakko sortua tähän ihanuuteen, nimittäin Diorin Garden pastels-palettiin. Mitkä värit ja ihan uskomattoman ihana laatu. Myös monet kynsilakat kiinnostavat, niin Diorilta kuin Chaneliltakin.

Inglot Duraline & dried gel eye liners

I heard a tip that Inglot Duraline is a perfect product for dried gel liners. I tried it with my oldest MAC fluidline but I've heard it works with all brands (Indelible gel liners and Inglot, just to name a few). The gel liner was s soft after just one drop of Duraline!

This product comes with a dropper and one drop is enough. Don't use more, at least not at once :) You can also use this to make any eyeshadow a eyeliner. This also doesn't irritate my eyes at all. Unfotunately I didn't find the inch anymore, I bought this over a year ago.

Tässä vain pikainen vinkki geelirajausten pehmittämiseen, mikrotus (pari sekuntia kerrallaan ilman kantta) ei tehoa ikuisesti mutta tämä Inglot Duraline saattaa toimia vielä silloinkin? Itse testasin vanhimman MAC Fluidlineni kanssa mutta olen kuullut tämän toimivan hyvin mm. Inglotin rajausten sekä suosittujen Indelible gel linerien kanssa. Yksi tippa oli tarpeeksi, tässä tilanteessa jopa liikaa :) Mutta pehmensi siis tosiaan hyvin!

Tuote on pienessä tippapullossa ja tätä tosiaan voi käyttää myös tekemään mistä tahansa luomiväristä (jauhe tai kiinteä) rajauksen. Ei ärsytä silmiäni yhtään! Koko 9 ml/ hinta 11€. Inciä ei valitettavasti enää löytynyt, olen ostanut tämän reilu vuosi sitten. Tuote tuntuu hieman öljyiseltä.

Ehdin testata vielä Inglotin kuivuneen rajauksenkin kanssa, luulin jo hävittäneni tämän, kun en ole käytetellyt aikoihin. Pehmeni tämäkin mutta noin muuten en niin näiden laadusta välitä. Sanoisin Inglotin geelejä kyllä MACiäkin pysyvämmäksi mutta koostumukseltaan MAC Fluidline miellyttää minua enemmän.

Clinique skin care products

So, I fell in love with Take the day off balm & Turnaround overnight, I wanted to test some more. I also got some samples.

Ihastuin siis Cliniquen tuotteisiin Take the day off balmin, Turnaround overnightin ja moisture surge sprayn jälkeen, joten testiin tarttui muitakin tuotteita :) Osa on näytekokoja, loppuvuodesta oli kivoja tarjouksia ja näitä sai silloin kaupanpäällisiksi. Ostin monet tuotteet laivalta, erityisesti Vikingillä ovat kyllä edullisia!

Clinique Liquid Facial soap, mild:

"The first step in Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care System. All the benefits of Clinique's dermatologist-developed Facial Soap in a liquid formula. Cleanses without stripping protective lipids. Preps skin for the exfoliating action of Clarifying Lotion. Convenient pump dispenses just the right amount."

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Fragrance free (and I like this scent), concentrated gel and leaves skin very soft. Pump bottle, which is nice too.

Ihana! Hajusteeton (tykkään lääkemäisestä ominaistuoksustaan), riittoisa geeli ja jättää ihon todella pehmoiseksi, Ei kuivata sekaihoani yhtään, miedompi ja vahvempi versio löytyy myös. Pumppupullo on aina näppärä!

Clarifying Lotion 1:

"Helps clear away pollution, dulling flakes for smooth, glowing skin. Helps pores look their smallest. Skin accepts moisture better. Grows more resistant to impurities. Stays healthier, younger. Dermatologist-reformulated to be comfortable, non-drying. "

I just noticed that they have also alcohol free "mild" version, it might be better for drier skins... This is for dry to very dry skins and it's good for my normal/ combination skin. I like this but this contains A LOT of alcohol. My skin doesn't mind though.

Tästä löytyy onneksi myös alkoholiton "mild" versio kuivemmalle iholle, nimittäin tämä 1 (dry to very dry skins) ei varmaan paljoa minun sekaihoani kuivemmalla iholla toimi... Sisältää paljon alkoholia ja tuoksu sen mukainen. Ihoni näyttää tykkäävän silti.

All About Eyes Rich: Rich cream, maybe too rich and thick for my taste and needs... I'll test regular All About Eyes next. Work under makeup too.
Aika tymäkkää kreemiä kyllä :D Ehkä vähän liikaakin minulle, levittyi kyllä hyvin ja sopi meikin alle. Todella paksu voide siis.

All About Eyes serum: Feels refreshing, works under other eyecreams too. Very nice serum in roll on bottle.
Todella raikas seerumi, sopii myös silmänympärysvoiteiden alle. Roll on pullo, kiva käyttää.

Dramatically Different moisturizing gel: Gel version of Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (DDML). My skin seems to love this but at least in the winter time I need also a moisturizing serum. Gel-cream.
Kevyempi versio perinteisestä Dramatically Different moisturing Lotionista (DDML). Iho tuntuu tykkäävän paljon mutta ainakin talvella tarvitsen seuraksi kosteusgeeli. Tykkään "lääkemäisestä" tuoksustaan myös.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (DDML):

This used to be my favorite a very long time ago, I guess they have reformulated this at least a bit since that :D Feels nice, was just perfect under mineral foundation but contains mineral oils and clogged my pores... I can use this sometimes but not daily.

Tämä oli suosikkini aikoja sitten, siis teini-iässä :D Ehkä tätä on hieman näinä vuosina uudistettu. *hekottaa* Tuntuu kivalta ja kosteuttavalta, voi käyttää jopa silmien alla (ihan Cliniquen luvalla) ja näytti todella hyvältä mineraalimeikkien alla. Tämä sisältää jonkin verran mineraaliöljyä ja tukkii siis ihoani... Voin käyttää satunnaisesti.

YSL Ombre Solo 5- Slate Green

One of my favorite eyeshadows are YSL solos (dark colors), I already have black and purple. I got those from sale and I wanted to get also this green one but the regular price was just too much. I'm glad I waited, I just found Slate Green on sale (-50%)!

These eyshadows are just amazing: so easy to blend.This green one was very nice but not as perfect (I had to apply several layers) as the ones I already had... It's still a very good eye shadow :)

Yksi suosikkiluomiväreistäni on ehdottomasti YSL:n solot tummissa väreissä, minulla on jo ennestään alelöytöni musta ja lila. Olin haaveillut vihreästäkin mutta normaalihinta on melkoisen hurja (noin 33€)... Ja hyvä että odotinkin, löysin tämän Slate Greenin nyt alesta puoleen hintaan!

Nämä ovat ihan uskomattomia: levittyvät kuin unelma ja pysyvät hyvin. Tykkään! Tämä vihreä ei kuitenkaan ollut laadultaan ihan niin ihana kuin nuo jotka minulla jo oli (sain laittaa monta kerrosta) mutta oikein hyvä tämä kuitenkin on :) Värikään ei ole niin helppo yhdisteltävä.

I bought color 02-light. This really feels moisturizing. The one thing I don't like is the smell... It's just too strong and "cheap" smell, I really don't like scented foundations (or powders). I don't thing this covers like a BB cream should cover... I haven't tested any others though :) This gives light coverage (at least compared the foundation I use: minerals & MAC Matchmaster) and the finish is dewy/ a bit shiny.This products is recommended for women under 40 years and I agree. This works probably better on young skin. I need at least a serum under this.

It looked VERY good as a primer (under mineral foundation) and it was ok alone. In the evening my skin looked patchy and uneven (when I used this alone). Yuck. So not my favorite, won't buy this again. I'll test it again in the summertime, I think iäll like this much more then (-10 C is not the most flattering temperature for your skin. LOL). But still, the smell...

Olihan sitä pakko ottaa ensimmäinen BB creamini testiin ;) BB creamit (Blemish Balm) ovat siis huippusuosittuja kaukoidässä ja näillä koulutytöt kiertävät meikkaamattomuussääntöjä, kyseessähän on kasvovoide. Valmistaja nyt lupaa tämän tekevän vaikka mitä, mutta enemminkin on kosteuttava meikkivoide, ei nyt ihan värillinen päivävoidekaan (peittää enemmän) mutta kyllä hyvä meikkivoide (esim. mineraalit tai MAC Matchmaster) tämän hakkaa mennen tullen ainakin minun ihollani. Aurinkosuojaakin on SK 15 verran.

Otin itse värin 02-Light (se vaaleampi sävy siis), ihan passeli sävy minulle ja menee kesälläkin (ei siis vaaleista vaalein sävy). Tuntuu tosiaan kosteutavalta, itse kyllä nyt talvella laitoin kosteusgeeliäkin alle. Kamalinta tuotteessa on voimakas haju, en tule juuri sen takia ostamaan tuotetta jatkossa. En tosin muutenkaan tykkää tuoksuvista meikeistä. En usko tämän peittävän niin hyvin kuin BB creamin pitäisi (en tosin ole muita itse testannut), ei siis tosiaan mikään miracle skin perfector ;) Kivan kevyen peittävyyden kyllä antaa, ei ihan mattapintaista mutta toki päälle voi laittaa puuteria. Ikäsuositus on alle 40 vuotiaat, nuoremmille vielä parempi, epäilisin.

Itse pidin erityisesti mineraalipohjan alla pohjustajana, silloin peittävyys oli todella hyvä. En itse tätä peittävyyttä arkena tarvitse tai edes halua, mutta toisinaan sellaisellekin on tarvetta. Yksinäänkin tämä oli "ihan ok". Kuvassa näyttää ihan hyvältä mutta illalla ihon väri näytti laikulliselta, yök. Siihen en todellakaan ole mineraalien kanssa tottunut! Varmaan kesällä kivampi tuote, en siis huonoksi hauku mutta en nyt ihastuksessa pyörryksissäkään ole. Tosin eipä nämä pakkaset muutenkaan ihoa ihan parhaimmilleen saa... Haju on minusta tuotteen kamalin puoli.

Burt's Bees Super Shiny Lip Gloss: Zesty Red

Burt's Bees lip gloss was one products I got from CheapSmells.com for review purpose :) I fist thought that the color is just horrible (LOL) but it was in fact very natural and wearable. I really like the natural, non sticky formula (see Inci below). It looks invisible in my lip swatch but I does give a sheer red color. The taste is pleasant and moisturizes nicely, feels maybe a bit gritty.

Overall: In suprised to find this good lip gloss with such a nice ingredients list :) I'll buy other colors (nectar nude & sweet pink) later.

Burt's Bees-huulikiilto on yksi tuotteista, jonka sain CheapSmells.comista testiini. Ajattelin tuubin nähdessäni, että onpas kammottava väri (*heh*) mutta osoittautui onneksi ihan luonnolliseksi huulilla. Huuliswatchissani näyttää värittömältä mutta antaa oikeasti hillityn punertavan värin.

Tykkään paljon luonnonmukaisesta Incistä (alla) ja koostumus ei tunnu tahmealta huulilla. Maku on miellyttävä ja kosteuttaa huulia. Ei toki kestävin huulilla eli saa lisäillä aika usein. Tuntuu hieman karkealta huulilla, ei paljoa, ja ainakaan minua tuo ei haittaa.

Olen siis yllättynyt löytäessäni näin kivan huulikiillon näin mukavalla Incillä :) Ostan jatkossa varmaan muita värejä (nectar nude ja sweet pink). Tuubi on ihan ok vaikka toki enemmän tykkään aplikaatorillisista.

It took quite a long to time to buy this Mary kay SatinHands set because I wasn't very interested in the Inci (a lot of mineral oil). But this autumn, my hands got SO dry. My friend recommended this set and I was desperate enought to buy it ;) I don't find that mineral oil moisturizes but it does protect (it created a waterproof film on the skin). So, I don't like mineral oils but my hands seem to like it on the wintertime. My work and the cold weather are just too harsh on my hands.

Olin joskus aikoinaan testannut tätä May Kayn SatinHands settiä ja kädet tosiaan tulivat pehmoisiksi. Hurja hinta (Suomessa yli 70€) ja Inci (=paljon mineraaliöljyä) kuitenkin hillitsivät ostohaluja kummasti. Nyt talvella käteni menivät aivan kammottavaan kutoon (työni on käsien iholle todella rasittava) ja tarvitsin nopeasti apua, kaveri sitten suositteli tätä.

Sain ihoni tällä tosiaan kivaan kuntoon eli sen puolesta voin suositella. Toki saman tehon voi saada muillakin tuotteilla, itselläni ei vain ollut aikaa sellaisia nyt etsiä. Riittoisalta setti sentään tuntuu ja tuoksultaan tykkään tästä Pomegranatesta (Limited Edition) todella paljon. Itselläni ei ole sen kummempia siteitä tämän firmaan, EN myy näitä itse (viimeksi MK:sta postatessani joku niin luuli), tyttären luokkakaverin äidiltä näitä ostan.

Käyttö:

1: Hiero Hand Softeneria kuiville tai kostutetuille käsille, huuhtele vedellä. Iholle jää selvästi tahmea kalvo.
2: Lisää käsiin yksi pumppaus Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub-kuorintaa (tämä käy koko vartalollekin) ja hiero keveysti, huuhtele ja kuivaa kädet.
3: Lisää pieni määrä Satin Hands Hand Cream-voidetta.

"Kalvo" kestää useita pesuja. Tein tämän "käsihoidon" jouluna suvun naisille ja olivat innoissaan tuloksesta. Itse kyllä suosittelen tämän lisäksi käyttämään myös mineraaliöljyttömiä käsivoiteita.

Mineraaliöljyt (Mineral oil, pertolatum, Paraffinum liquidum) ovat harvoin allergisoivia mutta eivät myöskään hoida ihoa mitenkään, tekevät pinnalle ohuen kalvon. Raaka-aineena se on yleinen: halpa eikä allergisoi helposti. Yleensä en tällaisia halua käyttää mutta näköjään talvella käsilleni tätä toisinaan tarvitsen. Koko vartalolle tai kasvoille en halua käyttää, tukkii ihohuokosia, mutta toisinaan lempituotteissani saattaa olla pienempänä määränä tätä.

Joulupukki oli tainnut kuulla käsiongelmistani sillä sain usemmankin käsien hoitoon sopivan setin lahjaksi ;) Niistä hieman myöhemmin!

I got a free sample (as a customer, not as a blogger :D) of Clinique turnaround overnight radiance moisturizer. The product felt interesting: oil free and fragrance free. And radiance doesn't sound too bad either ;)

After reading the inci I noticed this contains petrolatum (=mineral oil). My skin usually hates that stuff! Maybe this doesn't contain so much because my skin still looks normal... LOL. In fact I REALLY liked the product and bought a full size. I have used this every night for 3 weeks and my skin looks and feels very good. No clogged pores (I'm really prone to those :P) and skin feels soft & bright all day! I'm addicted to this now!

This is nothing like "oil free" product, IMHO, more like typical facial cream. unscented (=mild scent) and free of colorants.

In fact after testing this, I also wanted to test Clinique gel cleanser & toner, I'll post about those soon!

Sain testattavakseni Cliniquen uuden Turnaround Overnight-voiteen ostaessani muita tuotteita. Cliniquen testikoot ovat reilut, siitä suuri plussa, en yhden kerran jälkeen olisi nimittäin tätä tuotetta (ja harvoin mitään muutakaan) ostanut! Tuote kuulosti todella mielenkiitoiselta: öljytön ja tuoksuton. Eikä pieni "radiancekaan" ihan hullulta kuullostanut ;)

Inciä lukiessani huomasin tämän sisältävän mm. mineraaliöljyä, joka ei aiemmin iholleni suuremmin sopinut (=tukki ihohuokosia). Ehkä ikä on tehnyt tehtävänsä tai sitten sisältää sen verran vähän mineraaliöljyä/ tuotteen sisältämä salisyylihappo/ uudet puhdistustuotteeni pitävät ihon silti kunnossa, mitään reaktiota ei ole siis vajaassa kuukaudessa tullut! Ihoni on uskomattoman pehmeä (myös vielä illalla ennen voiteen laittamista, öisin siis tätä käytetään) ja kirkkaampi. Olen Turnaround Overnight addikti nyt ;D Tuote sisältää salisyylihappoa.

Tuotteen koostumus ei tosin tullu kovin "oil freeltä", ihan tavallinen voide. Ei minulle mitään mahtavia fiiliksiä tule tuotteen levittämisestä, on tosiaan ihan kuin mikä tahansa tavallinen tuoksuton kasvovoide. Eron huomaa vasta aamulla kasvojen pesun jälkeen :D Ei aiheuttanut yhtään kirvelyä herkällä pintakuivalla sekaihollani, ennemminkin rauhoitti.

Halpa tämä tuote ei ole, muistaakseni yli 50€ (minulla tosin oli alekuponkeja yms tuolloin, sain hyvään hintaan), eikä edes tunnu erityisen riittoisalta (ihan tavallinen voide siinäkin suhteessa). Jos olet nuori, tuskin tätä tarvitset edes, mutta 35+ iässä tämä alkaa tuntua jo ihan hintansa väärtiltä ;D Ostan uudelleen, ihan takuulla, ja haaveilen myös turnaround seerumista!

Tämä tuote oli tosiaan ihan loistava ja myös silikoniton! Tuote on pumpulla varustetussa tuubissa, helppo ja kätevä käyttää. Koostumus oli seerumimainen, ohut geeli. Ei tukkinut yhtään, kosteutti ja pehmitti ihon ihanasti. Ainoa mistä en tykännyt, oli se että tämä tuntui ihollani tahmealta... Käyttelen pois mutta tuo tahmaisuus on sen verran ikävä juttu, etten uudelleen osta. Saattaa toimia ihollasi eri lailla :) Kiva olisi kuulla kokemuksiasi tuotteesta!

Ei ärsyttänyt ihoa, mukava tuoksu mutta iho oli hieman kutiseva ennen kuin levitin voiteen päälle. Ehkä kertoi vain kuivuudesta? Ei tosiaan mitään ärsytystä sen enempää aiheuttanut. Ihan kiva mutta tuskin ostan uudelleen kuitenkaan.

Koostumus on tässäkin mukava ja tuntuu ihanan virkistävältä (kuten Vitamin C-sarja yleensäkin). Käytän keväällä enemmän, tuo suojakerroin hiukan "tuntuu". Jättää siis välillä valkoisen raidan iholle, jos ei ole levittänyt tarpeeksi ohuelti. Tuubi on hygieninen ja annostelu helppoa.

Luonnollista kiinteyttä ja nuorekkuutta ihollesi! Hoitaa optimaalisesti herkkää silmänympärysihoa. Auttaa vaalentamaan tummia silmänalusia. Kanervan tehoaineet kiinteyttävät ja silottavat ihoa yhdessä kasviproteiinien kanssa. Erinomainen tuote naisille 40+, joiden iho alkaa menettää kiinteyttä ja joustavuutta.

Tämä oli mukava tuttavuus! En tätä päivittäin käytä mutta tarpeen vaatiessa kuivalle, karhealle tai ärtyneelle iholle. Olen laittanut myös lasteni poskiin (9 ja 11 vuotiaat), jotka ovat talvella välillä karheat. Posket pehmenivät ja rauhoittuivat. Oman kokemuskeni mukaan voin siis suositella!

Syväpuhdas ja näpytön iho! Aiheuttaako stressi, ruoka tai hormonimuutokset epäpuhtauksia? Älä huolestu! Matt Touch puhdistusgeelin arktisen raikas koostumus poistaa tehokkaasti meikin, epäpuhtaudet, ylimääräisen rasvaisuuden ja lian, ihoa kuivattamatta. Sen tasapainottava koostumus auttaa kontrolloimaan kiiltoa ja estää uusien epäpuhtauksien mudostumista. Sisältää suomalaista koivusokeria eli ksylitolia, joka normalisoi ihon bakteeritasapainoa. Öljytön koostumus. Lopputuloksena puhdas, mattapintainen iho.

Sopii erinomaisesti rasvoittuvalle ja sekaiholle. Sisältää yli 90 % luonnon raaka-aineita. Parabeeniton koostumus. 150 ml.

Ihan hyvä puhdistusgeeli, raikas tuoksu eikä kuivattanut sekaihoani. Käytin useamman kuukauden jatkuvasti, kunnes löysin iholleni sopivamman tuotteen (Cliniquen liquid cleanserin). Ei mitään pahaa sanottavaa, iho pysyi hyvässä kunnossa (=puhdisti hyvin mutta ei liikaa kuivattaakseen).

MAC Curvaceous Lipglass

I bought MAC Curvaceous (from MAC Me Over collection, fall 2011) lipglass recently. This time just swatches, I've reviewed this product so many times :)

The color is a sheer cool pink with a touch of plum. Looks very natural on my lips.

I got this eyeshadow (peachy pink from Clinique Strawberry Fudge duo) as a free gift with purchase. It was lovely so I post this EOTD too :)

I really liked the quality a lot, I might buy these someday, but the colors were a bit too "safe" for my taste. LOL. I think many will like those though, wearable colors and the quality is very good (soft & pigmented) indeed!

Sain tämän Cliniquen luomivärin kaupanpäällisenä, oikeasti pariksi kuuluu ruskea ja duon nimi on Strawberry Fudge. Väri oli nätti, joten laitoinpa tämänkin meikin nähtäville.

Color Surge eyeshadown laatu on mainio: pigmenttinen ja pehmeä. Väri on kaunis ja sekoittui jännästi toisen värin kanssa hävyttäessä! Tykkäsin laadusta sen verran, että piti kurkata saatavilla olevat sävyt kaupassa. Ihan minun värejäni ei löytynyt, olivat turhan "turvallisia", mutta varmasti monelle mieluisia hillittyjä tästä löytyy! Laatua ainakin voin suositella :)

My favorite: Clinique Take the day off balm

Well, the third eye makeup remover I'm able to use so I have to tag this with "my favorites" ;D

I have (unfortunately) tested many but usually just can't use them: my eyes get irritated so easily. In fact I find that a bit weird, since I can wear practically any eyeshadows or mascaras! I've noticed that I can't use ANY liquid cleansers (I've tested Avene, Clinique, Biotherm, Lumene, many certified natural ones... Well, MANY brands). I think somehow the liquid gets into my eyes, I don't usually have the same problem with gels, foams or balms.

Unfortunately my favorite clensers are either discontinued or just not sold in my home town: Juvena gel *discontinued*, Make Up Store Eye Foam & Make Up For Ever Sens'Eyes cream *not sold in Turku*. Therefore I'm more than happy that I finally found a new favorite :D Clinique, you'd better never discontinue this one! LOL

I've heard a lot of good thing about Clinique Take the day off balm but I hesitated to test it because Clinique Naturally Gentle eye makeup remover (cream) irritated my eyes a lot... Now I got a small sample jar of this and I was able to test it. The first time I tested the balm I probably used too much: it didn't irritate but I didn't see much for while (kind of a film in my eyes) but after that i didn't have any problems!

This is not cheap but I expect this to last quite a while... You don't need much! The product is thich balm but melts in the finger tips. I apply a small amount on DRY skin, massage gently and let it work for a while. Then I add some water and massage gently. Rinse with water and the makeup is gone! Suitable for eyes and the rest of the face (I use this only on eye area).

Clinquen Take the Day Off balm-voide pääsi heti suosikeihini! Tämä on nimittäin yksi niistä harvoista silmämeikinputsareista joita noin yleensäkään voin käyttää.

On aika outoa, että tosiaan voin käyttää oikeastaan mitä tahansa silmämeikkejä mutta putsarit saavat silmät punaisiksi. Sopivia ovat olleet vain Juvenan geeli (lopetettu tuote), Make Up Storen vaahto (ei myydä enää Turussa ja vaahto ei ole kätevin reissussa), Make Up For Everin Sens'Eyes voide (ei myydä Turussa) ja tämä. Nestemäiset eivät sovi koskaan (olen testannut todella monia merkkejä, mm. Avene, Clinique, Biotherm, Lumene, ekotuotteita yms), mahtavatko mennä vain liikaa "silmään"? Ongelmia ei ole yleensä ollut geelien, vaahtojen ja voiteiden kanssa, niitä on vain tarjolla niin vähän!

Olen tosiaan kuullut paljon hyvää tästä Cliniquen balmista mutta en ollut kovin innokas ostamaan purkkia, koska saman merkin Naturally Gentle-silmämeikinpuhdistusaine suorastaan poltti silmissäni... Nyt sain pienen määrän testiin ja ihastuin täysin :D Ihan ensimmäisellä kerralla käytin liikaa voidetta ja kesti hetken, että (kirvelemätön) kalvo lähti pois silmistäni. Sen jälkeen ei ole ollut mitään ongelmia, ollut tosiaan nyt päivittäisessä käytössä yli kuukauden.

Mikään halpa tuote ei ole kyseessä (hinta taisi olla noin 35€/ 125 ml) mutta kestää pitkään! Tuotetta otetaan pieni nokare kuiviin sormenpäivin, lämmitetään sormissa ja hierotaan kevyesti kuiville silmäluomille. Lisätään pieni määrä vettä ja hierotaan kevyesti, lopuksi huuhdellaan vedellä.

Tuote sopii myös koko kasvoille, poistaa voimakkaimmankin meikin.

Well, after reading that, the Inci looked a bit interesting: silicone (cyclopentasiloxane), silicone (disiloxane), silicone (dimethiconol), silicone (cyclohexasiloxane), sun screen (ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate), perfume, natural oil (bixa orellana seed oil), fragrance (citronellol, linalool, geraniol, limonene, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone) & vitamin E. Not really natural at all.

The products has a divine scent, really! And I love the pump bottle. It might work on you hair if you don't avoid silicones and you need more shine... This has an untangling, anti-frizz and protective effect. Unfortunately it made my hair a bit greasy (my hair is not used to silicones anymore) but also easy to manage, I used just one drop. I have a very short hair and it's in very good condition (because it's so short :D). So maybe this wasn't the best product for me... I might use it from time to time, the smell was just so good.

Davinesin OL/OIL on yksi Cosmo beauty awards ehdokkaista ja sain tämän testiini. Tuote kuulosti niin ihanalta (postauksen alussa englanniksi), olen etsinyt hoitavaa öljytuotetta, joka ei latistaisi tukkaa liikaa :)

Testasin tuotteen ensin ja tuntui kovin kovin silikoniselta, tuoksu oli aivan uskomattoman ihana mutta tukka läsähti ja rasvoittui (käytin vain yhden tipan). Toisaalta oli hyvin helppo muotoilla... Pullo on itsessään oikein näppärä ja nätti mutta täytyy myöntää, että tuotteen Inci pikkuisen yllätti:

silikoni (cyclopentasiloxane), silikoni (disiloxane), silikoni (dimethiconol), silikoni (cyclohexasiloxane), aurinkosuoja (ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate), tuoksu, luonnonöljy (bixa orellana seed oil), tuoksuja (citronellol, linalool, geraniol, limonene, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone) & E vitamiini.

Hoitavuutta en näin silikoniselta tuotteelta odottaisi mutta jos hiuksesi ovat pörröiset, kiillottomat ja kaipaavat siloitusta, tämä varmaan toimii mainiosti! Omassa hyväkuntoisessa lyhyessä tukassani tämä tosiaan oli melkoisen huono... Pieninä määrinä käytän silikonia mutta selvästi tämä meni minulle jo "kiiltotippaosastoon" ts. on täysin tarpeeton. Inci ei mikään järkyttävä ole kampaamotuotteeksi mutta täytyy myöntää, että Davinesin imago on huomattavasti "luonnollisempi" kuin mitä Incit antavat ymmärtää...

Hinta on 32€/ 125 ml. Tuote on todella riittoisa.

After using silicone based products, I like to deep cleanse my hair. Pureism from Cutrin is nice but maybe next time I'll test something else :) This does its work.

Ja silikonipläjäyksen jälkeen syväpuhdistava shampoo on hyvä tuote :) Tämä Cutrinin Pureism on ihan jees, hoitaa hommansa, mutta mieluusti kuulen vinkkejä suosikeistanne ja testaan seuraavaksi jotain muuta.

I bought just a few Holly-Days pigments. Autumn/winter collections are usually not my favorites so I'll wait for spring ;D I got a full size of Snowglobe (white with green shimmer) and some samples. The colors are much prettier irl, we don't really have any sunshine here in Finland at the moment so I just post the ones taken in artificial light.

Muutamia Aromaleigh Holly-Days swatcheja alla, kovin montaa en ostanut, kevätkokoelmat ovat aina enemmän minun juttuni :) Valkoisen (hillityllä vihreällä hohdolla) otin täysikokoisena. Taas kerran nätimpiä luonnossa, ei täällä aurinkoa juuri kannata odotella.

Aww... Meow Ice Blossoms pigments looked just too lovely, so I bought 2 full sizes (& some samples) right away :D I thought that the lilac Hoar Frost would be just perfect, it was nice but little too light... But the green Crystallofolia was PERFECT. Really.

Oi, Meowin Ice Blossoms kokoelma vaikutti niin ihanalta, että tilasin suoralta kädeltä 2 täysikokoista :D Ajattelin, että lila Hoar frost olisi juuri etsimäni vaaleanlila. Se osoittautui makuuni hieman liian vaaleaksi (laatu toki on loistava) mutta vihreä Crystallofolia olisikin sitten ihan täydellinen. MAC Pro Longwear Eye Shadow "Legendary Black"

I got this eyeshadow for review purpose. I've wanted to test this new formula, Pro Longwear Eye Shadow, but I've bought so much from LE collections and this was permanent... Anyway, now I have one, Legendary Black, I really love this one :D

The size is bigger than regular MAC eyeshadows, 3.4 g, so naturally this won't fit to MAC eyeshadows palette. The color is dark grey-brown, looks gorgeous with practically anything! This is very pigmented and long lasting, the color was dark but there wasn't much fallout. This is powdery and dry but last like more creamy ones :) And it was very easy to blend.

The color is lovely and the staying power excellent, I will use this color a lot!

Sain tämän tuotteen jo vähän aikaa sitten testiin ja tätä on tullut käytettyä paljon! Pro Longwear-luomivärit tulivat syksyllä ja vakivalikoimaan, silloin oli niin paljon ihania Limited Edition tuotteita, että tämä jäi hyllyyn. Nyt sitten yksi löytyy, Legenday Black.

Kooltaan nämä ovat suurempia kuin MACin perusnapit (3.4g), eivät siis sovi palettiin. Väri on tumma harmaanruskea, näyttää hyvältä todella monen sävyn kanssa! Tuote on todella pigmenttinen ja pysyy loistavasti, väri on tumma mutta silti tämä tipahtanut (juuri) yhtään poskille. Koostumus on jännästi aika "kuiva" mutta silti kesto on kuin voidemaisemmalla tuotteella. Todella todella kiva! Yleensä en niin välitä "kuivan" puuterimaisista tuotteista.

En tiedä ostanko lisää, koska väreistä tämä saattaa olla minulle se kiinnostavin :) Tai no, ehkä tummansininen voisi olla vielä aikas kiva...

I'm back! I was so tired before Christmas (so much work but it was worth it :D) so I just slept and red some books. Meow Cosmetics Reindeer swatches & EOTDs

I bought so many samples from Meow... I might not post swatches of everything (I have many products to review and unfortunately just a limited amount of time). Anyway, one of the collections I bought recently is "Reindeer". Beautiful colors, lovely names. The collection is Limited Edition but Meow usually sells the same (+new) ones every Christimas time. That is great :)

And yes, we eat reindeer in Finland. Well, not me personally, I rarely eat red meat ;)

My favorite is withour any doubt prancer (pale metallic green). Very nice and unique shade! My other favorite is lilac Vixen, it has lovely iridescence! Blitzen has unique duocrome also, just not my color... It's aqua blue with pink.

I'll add this Attitude Floor cleaner to this post too... I really love Attitude products but this one is not my favorite: the consistency is thin and the smell is not great either (I know, that shouldn't be important but I still prefer good smells :D). It's ok, I'll use it but won't buy again. I recommend other Attitude products!

Laitetaanpa pieni arvostelu Attituden lattiaputsarista samaan postaukseen. Olen tosiaan Attitude-fani mutta tästä en niin välittänyt: koostumus on liru ja tuoksu ei miellytä (teepuu & lime). Ihan ok toki on, käytän loppuun mutta lemppariputsarin etsintä jatkuu! Muita Attituden tuotteita suosittelen lämpimästi :D

L'Oreal Infaillible eyeshadow 027 "Goldmine"

I bought also this golden eyeshadow from L'Oreal. I like infaillible eyeshadows a lot (especially the shimmery ones), I've reviewed several, and this is one of the best: so soft and creamy! Lasts very well and looks metallic.

Ostin myös tämän kultaisen Goldmine-sävyn L'Orealin uudesta kokoelmasta. Infaillible-luomivärit ovat ihania (varsinkin nämä hohtavat) ja tämä kultainen on laadultaan yksi parhaista: todella pehmeä ja pigmenttinen. Pysyy todella hyvin ja on metallinen.

Itse levitän nämä aitokarvaisella luomivärisiveltimellä (MAC) mutta paras taitaa tämänkin kanssa olla ihan aplikaattori. Olen vain hajasijoittanut omani ;)

Aromaleigh Starry Night EOTD: Spica & Shaula

I wanted to share this look with Aromaleigh Spica & Shaula with you, I liked it very much! The pigmentation was just amazing. I used lighter green (MAC Juxt with MAC Shroom) in the inner corner of the eye.

Mary kay makeup

My daughter's friend's mom sells Mary Kay and now I finally decided to test their make up. I must say that I'm quite impressed. The pigmentation of the eye shadows is good (depends on the shade and finish, naturally) and I REALLY like the samples! It's so nice to test the colors at home.

The eye shadows can be added to a magnetic palette (like the one I have from inglot). The eye shadow pan looks small but I googled the size and it's 1.4g (MAC eyeshadow is 1.5g).

Tyttäreni kaverin äiti myy Mary kay tuotteita ja päätin nyt vihdoinkin testata merkin meikkejä :D Täytyy myöntää, että olin erittäin postiivisesti yllättynyt laadusta! Luomiväreissä riittää pigmenttiä ja laatu on mukavan pehmeä (toki laatueroja on värien/koostumusten välillä, niin kuin kaikissa merkeissä).
Erityisen iloinen olen näistä sampleista! Oli niin ihana testata värejä kotona rauhassa :) Luomivärinapit saa laitettua magneettipalettiin, itse käytän Inglotin paletteja mutta Mary kaylläkin on toki omansa.

Yksi nappi maksaa 12€, en vielä ostanut yhtään mutta tämä asia taitaa korjaantua hieman myöhemmin ;) Nappi vaikuttaa pieneltä mutta on kooltaan (1.4 g) kuitenkin hyvin lähellä MACiä 1.5 g).

I also bought a few old LE products (a blush & a lipstick), those were on sale. The colors and quality were very nice on both products. The lipstick is called Taffeta, lovely pink. Very wearable and very moisturizing.

Ostin muutaman meikkituotteen alekopasta, vanhoja LE-tuotteita. Molempien laatu ja väri olivat ihanat. Huulipunan väri on Taffeta, hillityn kaunis vaaleanpunainen. Käyttökelpoinen sävy ja koostumus on kosteuttava.

Soft Sable blush looks lovely and is pigmented. This is also magnetic, I have mine now in Inglot palette :)

Soft sable poskipuna tuli hankittua testaamatta mutta onneksi sävy on hyvä :D Ihastuin ulkonäköön, pigmenttiä on sopivasti myös! Tämäkin voi laittaa magneettipalettiin, nyt saan vihdoin matkaposkipunat myös mukaan :D

Lumene Blueberry Long-Wear Duo 2 Golden pond/ Kimaltava Lampi

I bought this Lumene duo from Viking Line. I wanted just the teal part of Golden Pond, I didn't like the dirty gold/beige that much... But after testing it, I must say the duo is really pretty! This duo is also highly pigmented. Very nice! I like these new eye shadows from Lumene a lot :)

laivatuliasina hankin itselleni Lumenen Golden Pond/ Kimaltava Lampi-duon. Olin tätä pidempään jo miettinyt mutta halusin vain turkoosin sävyn, likainen kultabeige ei niin innostanut... Onneksi testaamisen jälkeen tuokin sävy osoittautui käyttökelpoiseksi ja sopii loistavasti turkoosin seuraksi. Tämäkin duo on todella hyväpigmenttinen, tykkään! Uusien Lumene luomivörien laatu miellyttää minua todella :)

Make Up Store Coral Lace Blush

When I saw this lovely new blush from Make Up Store, I just HAD TO get it ;D The color of Coral Lace looked so perfect and this is so pigmented! The color is shimmery coral and really brightens my skin. I'd say a perfect blush for spring colored persons.

I was a bit worried since this contains mineral oil & lanolin... My skin is not a great fan of those. But I have now used this several weeks without any problems!

Make Up Storen uudessa kokoelmassa on ihana uusi poskipuna, Coral Lace. Pakkohan tämä oli saada ja täytyy myöntää, etten pettynyt! Väri raikastaa ihanasti ihoni sävyä, ihan must kun väsyttää (ja näyttääkin siltä ;D). Väri on hohtava koralli, todella pigmenttinen. Uskoisin sopivan hyvin muillekin "kevät-sävyisille".

Olin hieman huolissani Incistä, tämä sisältää mineraaliöljyä ja lanoliinia... Ihoni ei ole tosiaan niiden suurin fani. Onneksi kuitenkaan parin viikon päivittäinen käyttökään ei ole aiheuttanut ongelmia, takuulla sopii siis ainakin toisinaan käytettäväksi.

I got my Starry Night order and the colors looks just amazing! Unfortunately my swatches are not the best... I'm not expecting to see the sun in the near future (I HATE winter :P) so the swatches are taken in artificial light.

I have always liked this Aromaleigh formula: smooth pigmented base with contrasting sparkle! My favorites are Antares (russet), Sirius (silver), Polaris (white), Saiph (green), Shaula (Purple) and Bellatrix (blue).

Note: Betelgeuse looks green or reddish brown, depending on the lighting :)
I wanted to test it but I still hate color changing pigments. LOL.

Nightwish- new album Imaginaerum

The new Nightwish album, Imaginaerum, is so good! Here is one of the songs, Storytime. For me Nightwish is Tuomas Holopainen's music and I'm already starting to like the "new" singer. LOL

The album is perhaps my favorite album ever... The more I listen the more I love it! It's like a good fantasy book, you feel like you are in the different world :D Storytime is a good song but not my favorite from this album, if I had to name my favorites, they would be Taikatalvi (magical winter) and Turn Loose the Mermaids. But I still think this album is like a fantasy story: it's better to listen them all at once!

This time I wanted Barcelona Red (frost) just because I LOVE Barcelona ;D The color is warm, slightly metallic, coral red. Very lovely paired with neutral eyes! This is not really a red lipstick, so if you just learning to use reds/ other than neutral lipsticks, this might a good option! I've heard a lot of compliments when wearing this. This is one of my favorite lipsticks ever :D So easy and so pretty!

MAC Fall Pigments: Emerald Dusk, Blue Storm & Starless night

I got a samples of MAC Fall Color pigments :) It took me a while to test these, i was just SO busy :/ The quality of all three is just perfect. There are several formulas in MAC pigments and this is my favorite: smooth & super pigmented.

EOTD with Emerald Dusk: My favorite :D Lovely grey-blue-teal, nicely pigmented!

Blue Storm:

Starless Night: Gorgeous, very pigmented shimmery black. There was a little fallout when I applied this, so be careful when you use this :)

L'Oreal Infaillible eyeshadow: Bronze Divine (024)

Oh, new Infaillible eyeshadow colors from L'Oreal! They had a bright golden, sand/gold and this Bronze Divine. It's divine, indeed. The color is just what I love, greenish-bronze, and quality is amazingly soft (creamy, super pigmented powder). These really last!

Jihuu, uusia Infaillible luomivärejä L'Orealilta! Nyt tarjolla oli kulta, hiekka ja tämä Bronze Divine. Jumalainen sävy tosiaan, ostopäätös syntyi välittömästi ;D Tässä laatu on vielä pehmoisempi kuin ennen testaamissani sävyissä, aivan ihana siis! Voidemainen ja puuterimainen, kestää todella hyvin iholla. Väri on ihan suosikkini, vihertävä pronssi. Kultainenkin olisi kyllä ihana...

Do you like these eyeshadows? I use MAC 217 blending brush to apply these.

Maybelline Master Drama Khol Liner (grey)

This Maybelline Master Drama is a very soft and pigmented eyeliner pencil. Last very well (see my "after 14 hours" picture below). You also have to sharpen it very often, this is just SO soft! It's "master drama" so it really might not be the best for everyday use (depends what you like, naturally). But still like it and will use in the evenings! You can really add drama to your look with this! I got the grey color, it looks black on my light skin. The black one might be better, if you are very dark toned.

Maybelline Master Drama on erittäin pehmeä ja pigmenttinen silmänrajauskynä. Pysyi todella hyvin (alla kuva 14 tunnin jälkeen). Pehmeytensä takia tätä pitää myös terotella ahkerasti. Ei ehkä paras arkipäivään (riippuu toki millaista lopputulosta milloinkin haluaa) mutta eiköhän tätä tule iltaisin käytettyä. Ja halloweenina tietysti :D Tällä todellakin saa draamaa katseeseen! Itse otin tämän harmaan ja näyttää vaalealla iholla lähes mustalta :)

MAC Juxt (satin) eye shadow

My favorite pale green is without any doubt MAC Juxt (satin)! This golden green is soft, satiny, pigmented and the shade is just perfect. I read some reviews that this is not very pigmented but I think it's pigmented. It's just very pale. I tested Juxt with both regular and colored primers, it always looked great :D All the EOTD below are with Candy Eyed primer (Lime Crime) though. This color is in permanent collection.

Lempivaaleanvihreäni on ehdottomasti MAC Juxt (satin)! Tämä kullanvihreä on koostumukseltaan pehmoinen, pigmenttinen, satiininen ja sävyltää ihan täydellinen. Luin ennen ostoa arvoita ja jossain sanottiin tämän olevan vähäpigmenttinen. Siitä ole eri mieltä mutta toki sävyltään tämä on aika hento. Testailin tätä sekä värillisten että tavallisten primerien kanssa ja hyvin toimi, kuvissa näemmä olenkin käyttänyt vain Lime Crimen Candy Eyed-pohjustajaa. Sävy on vakivalikoimassa, onneksi.
