OMG, these new Aromaleigh's Retro HiFi Mattes are so beautiful! I had to try In Orbit first, because I just love green ;) I did expect these to be very nice (because I love AL mattes) but these greens are just incredible :D Hope you like the look too!

Aromaleigh Retro Hi-Fi Matte swatches

I got the samples from Aromaleigh to review & swatch, thank you MissK!

I tried to swatch these lovely, vibrant colors many times but somehow some of the colors looked too light in the pictures... Unfortunately the weather has been just terrible here in Finland, very dark and rainy... I even tried to swatch these on eyes but maybe I started with wrong color and I looked like Agneta from ABBA :D


I just washed my makeup and applied Big Tickle only :D Sorry about the application but I just wanted to show how pigmented these are. Very easy to blend too!

So sorry, the swatches are not that good but I'll do some EOTD's asap!


Sain nämä ihanat Retro Hi-Fi Mattet Aromaleighiltä arvoita ja swatcheja varten. Hieman siis hermostuin, kun swatcheista ei näyttänyt tulevan mitään! Nämä kaunokaiset näyttivät swatcheissa usein ihan liian vaaleilta... Hieman aurinkoisempi sää olisi ehkä auttanut myös asiaa! Yritin jopa swatchata nämä luomilla mutta taisin aloittaa väärällä sävyllä ja tuo vaaleansininen sai aikaa melkoiset Abba Agneta fiilikset. Kääk :D



Real Gone: Bright lemony yellow.
In Orbit: wicked chartreuse green (this color has the slightest lustre)
Spaz: True lime green.
Radioactive: A vivid cool green.



Big Tickle: That quintessential cyan teal blue.
Daddy-o: slightly muted turquoise blue.
Fake Out: slightly muted cool blue with a hint of violet tones. Blue Note, perhaps?
Cool It: Vivid bright spaced-out blue.



Train Wreck: Pinked red.
Kookie: The girliest cool pink ever.
Heels on Fire: Intense mauved pink.
Cranked: Slightly muted coral red (this color has the slightest lustre).

Cat's Pajamas: matte coral with warm orange tones. It's not orange, it's not red.
Ankle Biter: Warm-toned orange, bright!
Flip your Lid: atomic orange!
Supermurgatroid: Intense coral orange.

What's Shakin'?: Cool toned purple.
Got Dibs: Warm toned purple.

Aromaleigh En Pointe permanent colors & swatches

Now part of Aromaleigh's en Pointe collection is made permanent! Here are my swatches:

Nyt tosiaan osa Aromaleighin en Pointe kokoelmasta on pysyvässä kokoelmassa! Ja swatchit seuraavat:

Arabesque: A refined bluish green with highlight shimmers of green and gold. Multi-facted and rich frost. (Frost) This is SO "me", I love this one!

Odile: A deep and mysterious smooth, lush mauve sheen with iridescent shine of green and blue and earthy undertones. (Smooth frost)

Dulcinea: Rich warm purple plush matte base with unexpected smooth green iridescent highlight. (Sheen)

Serenade: A color inspired by my favorite ballet. Beautiful smooth teal plush matte base with a lush violet iridescent highlight. (Sheen)

Aurora: A pinky-beige plush matte base scattered with tiny shimmers of blue and pink. Fit for a princess. (Sheen, slight shimmer)

Calliope: As lovely as the muse herself, this is a go-to color. A soft plush matte base beholds softly shimmering beige and lilac tones. (Sheen, slight shimmer)

Waltz: A soft pale green plush matte base with a mysterious blue-green highlight tone. Use wet or over base for more drama! (Sheen, slight shimmer)

Coppelia: A lovely berried plum plush matte base with a dimensional smooth violet highlight. (Sheen)

Myrtha: The rich deep blue green of night with an earthy base. Gorgeous dramatic blue-green highlight shimmer. Apply went for high drama, dry for softer effect. Plush matte base with sheen highlight.

Elegie: A dark dose of shimmering jewels. Add to other shades to deepen and dramatize, use wet-lined or all-over for a magnificent, glimmering smokey eye. OMG, now wonder so many love this color!

Piqué: A lovely mauved purply brown with light-changing lustre, travels from purply-blue to blue-green. (Sheen) I just didn't read the description well enough, I never like color with blue sheen, never. LOL Unfortunately the blue sheen doesn't show in this picture.

Sylph: Add a touch of shimmering tiara glamour to any shade to add sparkly and shine... brilliant sparkling jewels in a white plush matte base. Pure sparkle, gorgeous!

And colors I didn't order:

Clara: Festive warm purple with a twist... an unexpected smokey base and a sweet blue and pink traveling iridescent highlight. (Frost)

Tutu: Soft pink violet plush matte base with an effervescent golden copper highlight. (Sheen)

EOTD with Arabesque (lid, lower lash line), Elegie (crease) & Sylph (tear duct). These three colors are my favorites, no doubt :D

Ja meikki näillä kaunokaisilla :D Arabesque (luomella, alarajauksena), Elegie (luomivaossa) & Sylph (sisänurkassa). Ehdottomat suosikkini tästä kokoelmasta!

Cakewalk loks too dark in the picture, it's my favorite everyday lipcolor! Creampuff is maybe a bit too light for me.

Cakewalk näyttää kuvassa liian tummalta, on ehdoton suosikkini! Creampuff taitaa olla hieman liian vaalea minulle, täytyy laittaa varovasti/vähän.

L'Occitane Marvelous hand cream trio & Melvita Rose water

I was looking for a new hand cream. I've using one from Melvita, it was just great but the smell of lavender is so strong... I wanted something else this time (I'll buy Melvita later again). And then I saw this pretty trio from L'Occitane and I just couldn't resist ;) I wasn't sure whether I'll love or hate the smells of cherry and rose but in fact both are just delicious :D Vanilla is nice too but I like the other two more. Vanilla also thicker than the others so I use it at nights.

The scents are:
-the fruity, zesty scent of Sweet Cherry
-the floral, sugary scent of Candied Rose
-the delectable softness of Shea Vanilla

Uuden käsivoiteen hankinta tuli ajankohtaiseksi, kun Melvitan versio loppui. Pidin Melvitastta paljon mutta tuoksu on melkoisen vahva (laventeli tms) ja halusin nyt vaihteeksi jotain muuta. Ja kun sitten näin tämän L'Occitanen trion kaupassa, olihan se pakko saada ;) Olin ihan varma, että pidän vaniljasta mutta en ollut yhtään varma miellyttävätkö ruusu ja kirsikka minua yhtään (en voi sietää kirsikan tuoksua). Yllätys olikin melkoinen, kun pidin niistä jopa vaniljaa enemmän :D Vanilja on koostumukseltaan muita myös selvästi paksumpi ja käytän sitä öisin.

I also bought a new bottle of Melvita Rose Water, I reallyreallyreally love it! I don't like smell of roses but my skin just loves this :D I use rose water as a skin toner and sometimes over my make up too. Rose water makes my skin so soft.

Ostin myös Melvitan ruusuvettä, taitaa olla jo kolmas pullo käytössä, tämä on ihana! En pidä ruusun tuoksusta mutta ihoni rakastaa ruusuvettä! Käytän siis kasvovetenä. Pidän vielä enemmän Vihreän Kosmetiikan versiosta mutta tällaiselle suurkuluttajalle se tulee hieman liian kalliiksi :/

Neutral EOTD with Purely Cosmetics

I have a terrible flu and wanted to have a neutral look, I didn't need any extra attention to my tired face and red nose :P I used pigments from Purely Cosmetics and I really liked these! Colors were very easy to blend. In fact I'm going to try these colors when I make up my mom next time (she likes neutrals).

Kammottava flunssa iski, enkä halunnut liikaa huomiota väsyneeseen nassuun ja punakkaan nenääni :P Valitsin neutraalin meikin ja Purelyn pigmentit. Mukava laatuisilta tuntuivat ja olivat helpot häivyttää. Seuraavalla kerralla kun meikkaan äitini, taidan käyttää näitä värejä :)

Morgana Minerals swatches & EOTD

Here are my Morgana Minerals swatches. I swatched these with Lumene primer (as always) and some of these didn't show that well... But when I used Morgana pigments in my FOTD with Detrivore primer, I was quite surprised, because these were VERY pigmented! I even felt that this a bit too much for my sons 9th birthday party today. LOL

Tässä swatcheja Morgana Mineralsin tuotteista. Jätin Halloween-pigmentit swatchaamatta, kun eivät ole enää saatavilla. Käytin alla Lumenen primeriä, kuten yleensäkin, mutta jotenkin nämä eivät näyttäneet tarttuvan kovin hyvin Lumeneen... Ja sitten yllätyin miten voimaakkaina sain nämä näkymään Detrivore primerin kanssa! Taisi jopa olla hieman liian näyttävä meikki pojan 9-vuotisjuhlissa. *heh*

Aromaleigh L'Orchidee swatches

Here are my swatches of the new permanent colors from Aromaleigh L'Orchidee collection :) Aromaleighs quality never stops to amaze me, all I can say: WOW!

Tässä swatchit Aromaleighin L'Orchidee kokoelman uusista vakivalikoimassa olevista sävyistä. Ihania :) Aromaleighin laatu yllättää minut joka kerta, oikeasti suosittelen! Voin sanoa vain: WOW!

Tigrilla: Sure to please, a lustrous tangerine tones enhanced with sparks of iridescent gold.

Unicorn: Palest yellow luster that phases to a cool blue highlight.

Cricket: Vivid yellow green with bright sparks of iridescent green.

Dragon: Fascinating green, muted in tone but with a smoked base and pearl luster.

Tangleroot: Earthy lush green with cool dimensional shimmer sparkles.

Shadow Witch: Midnight smoked blue with surprising golden sparks.

Moth: Pale and delicate iridescent tones appear softly grey, always changing.

Jewel: Cool purple with shimmers of coral gold contrasting the purply goodness.

Chatterbox: Rich, multi-dimensional brownish mauve smoke with frosted shimmer.

Moonset: Deepest purply blue with brilliant diamond shimmer.

Ones I don't have:

Seed Pearl: A most delicate neutral satin taupe with soft pastel sparkles. (I think I have to order this one :D)

Heart: Rich deep pink with iridescent golden shimmer sparkle.

Orinoco: Soft peach lustre that reveals a satiny borealis iridescence.

Showy: Lovely cool pink frost with blue iridescent sparkles

Morgana minerals & EOTD

I ordered some pigments from Morgana Minerals now received my order. Yippee! The new silver labels in Halloween collection looked very stylish and the package was nice & clean :) Shipping is free if you order just samples (minimum 20 USD), but it wasn't difficult at all to order over 20 samples. LOL

Samples are in baggies and the price is 1 USD. Shipping took 3.5 weeks to Finland (package was sent 10/27 and arrived 11/16, sometimes international packages just take longer to arrive). I really like the colors. *heart* This was my first pigment order from Morgana but I've purchased silk fiber brushes from this shop before. In fact customer service was very good, last spring I asked for one brush I was desperately looking for and Melissa started to sell it :)

Melissa really does the lipsticks she sells by herself! I say WOW :D Maybe there will be lighter colors in the future?

I'll post swatches later but see my first EOTD with Morgana Minerals below.


Tilasin hiukan mineraaleja Morganalta ja nyt sain tutustua tuotteisiin, jee! Kaikki oli siististi pakattu ja täällähän ei ole postikuluja ollenkaan yli 20 USD sampletilauksille, ei edes Suomeen :D Ja 20 sampelahan sai kasaan ihan_helposti. LOL

Samplet ovat siis pusseissa ja hnta 1 USD/kpl.Tuotteet saapuivat 3.5 viikossa (Melissa lähetti nämä kyllä nopeasti mutta matkassa välillä kestää). Värit ovat ihania! Tämä oli ensimmäinen mineraali-tilaukseni Morganalta mutta siveltimiä olen tilannut täältä ennenkin. Itseasiassa kyselin keväällä yhtä tiettyä sivellintä Morganalta ja Melissa oli niin ihana, että otti ko. siveltimen myyntiinkin :D Suomessa moinen oli huomattavasti kalliimpi!

Melissa tekee myymänsä huulipunat itse. Ei mikään helppo homma eli sanon WOW :D Ehkäpä myös vaaleampia sävyjä joskus? Alla vielä ensimmäinen meikki firman tuotteilla, swatchit tulossa hieman myöhemmin.

-Erelieva (Morgana Minerals): Pale, slightly sheer, green with purple sparkle.
-Shimmer and shine blush (Allure by Jen): a dusty pink color with a definite shimmer to it. It has sparkles of green and blue that will really get you noticed.
