MAC Mineralize Blush: Subtle Breeze/ Naturally

Well, I did find something interesting from MAC Naturally collection ;D I usually don't like these "natural collections", I prefer COLOR, but Subtle Breeze blush was adorable. I'm MAC blush addict, I must admit! It's surprisingly pigmented, the color is not very dark. The first time I used this, I looked almost like a clown! The finish is silky: gives lovely glow but it's not shimmery. Feels a bit dusty but looks natural and not chalky on skin.


Löysin sentään jotain MAC Naturally-kokoelmasta ;) Yleensä nämä "luonnolliset kokoelmat" eivät minuun iske mutta ovat toki Suomessa hyvin myyviä. Itse tykkään enemmän värikkäämmästä :) Mukana tarttui kuitenkin Subtle Breeze Mineralize-poskipuna, olen tosiaan aika heikkona MACin poskipuniin muutenkin... Subtle Breeze on yllättävän pigmenttinen, näyttää tosiaan hyvin hillityltä swatchattuna. Laitoin testatessani tätä ihan liikaa mutta kohtuullisesti laitettuna on tosiaan kaunis ja luonnollinen sävy. Lopputulos on silkkinen ja hieman hohtava, ei yhtään kimaltava kuitenkaan. On puuterinen mutta ei kuitenkaan näytä kalkkiselta iholla. 

MAC Girl About Town Amplified Lipstick

Nea loves Back to MAC :) This time I decided to take Girl About Town (Amplified) lipstick. The color is fuchsia, bold and pigmented. Very lovely!

Palvelu toimii tosiaan vain Turussa ja Helsingissä (kannattaa siis säästää pakkaukset). Tällä kertaa mukaan tarttui Girl About Town (amplified). Väri on fuksia, kirkas, rohkea ja erittäin pigmenttinen. Ihana!

Mary Kay Nourishine Plus Lip Gloss Rock 'N' Red

And one more Mary Kay post, I don't sell MK products myself, I'm just a customer!

The older version of Mary Kay Lip gloss was already my favorite (my review here) and now I tested red on (Rock 'N' Red) from the new Nourishine Plus range. This really is very good! Might even feel a bit nicer that the older one... I found a new natural color favorite (Sun Blossom) but didn't buy it yet because I still have a few pieces of my old favorite in stock ;) LOL. Rock N Red looked gorgeous and I've wanted to buy a red lip gloss for a while. This is pigmented enough to be worn alone but naturally works over lipstick too. Not shimmery, just glossy. Not sticky and I LOVE the scent of vanilla! Isn't it GORGEOUS?

Ja vielä yksi Mary Kay postaus. En tosiaan itse näitä myy, ihan vain asiakkaana käyttelen :)


Vanhempi versio MK Nourishinesta oli jo suosikkejani (arvio siitä täällä), tuote uudistui ja hankin yhden uudesta koostumuksesta testiin. Uusi versio on nimeltään Nourishine Plus ja väreistä päädyin punaiseen Rock 'N* Rediin. Tämä on tosiaan loistava! Ehkä jopa hieman mukavamman tuntuinen kuin edellinen versio... Uusi "nude" suosikki löytyi myös, SunBlossom, äitini sen jo ostikin itselleen (minä tosiaan käyttelen vanhaa Melon Sorbetia vielä jonkin aikaa ;). Punaiselle huulikiillolle oli itse asiassa ihan tarvekin ja tässä on aivan ihanasti pigmenttiä! Voi käyttää yksinään tai tuomassa kiiltoa punaisen huulipunan päälle. Tuote on kiiltävä mutta kimallusta/hohdetta ei ole mukana. Toki kimaltaviakin värejä löytyi, itse vain pidän enemmän kimalteettomista huulikiilloista. Tuote ei ole tahmainen ja tuoksuu vaniljalta. Väri on tosiaan melkoisen herkullinen!

The size of this lip gloss is "regular" (4.5ml), many brands sell lip glosses that contain about 2 ml and price is still very high... However this new one is quite a lot smaller that the old one (7.75 ml). The difference is 3.25 ml and that is a lot. I still think it's worth the money though. But this brand is not hiding the size, as you can see from the picture below :D

Huulikiillon koko on ihan "normaali" (4.5 ml), tosiaan markkinoilta löytyy tuotteita, joissa on vain 2 ml (ja pakkauksesta ei voisi ikinä arvellekaan sen olevan niin pieni). Olen tyytyväinen hinta-laatusuhteeseen yhä mutta tosiaan tuote pieneni melkoisesti uuden koostumuksen myötä (7.75ml->4.5ml). Eroa on 3.25 ml... Ainakaan MK ei peittele määrää, lukee aika suurella hylsyssä, kuten alhaalta näkyy :D

Jemma Kidd Crushed Jewel creme duo: 01 Iolite

I haven't really tested this product I got from CheapSmells.com yet. This feels a fun products but I don't go to clubs or anything, this is just too much for daily use :D Well, here are the swatches anyway!

This a a duo: creamy bright blue base & silver glitter. The glitter need the base, otherwise it just doesn't stick.

Mary Kay Berry Soufflé eyecolor compact

The Mary Kay eye shadow compact "Berry Soufflé" looked too nice... I really do not like product like this (many colors in the the same pan) but I thought these colors might look nice even mixed :) The lighter shades (white, pink & lilac) are nice but not as pigmented as the regular MK eye shadows. This is not a magnetic pan either. I think these are better is you want a more sheer finish... But I LOVE color! So for me the lighter shades are "nice" and the darkest is quite useless... The color didn't show much so I added some black eye shadow (YSL solo) in the crease.


Tämä paletti kuuluu uudempaan Mary kay Limited Edition kokoelmaan ja en voinut vastustaa sitä... En tosiaan suuremmin tämän tyyppisestä tuotteesta pidä (=monta väriä samassa napissa) mutta jattelin, että lila ja vaaleanpunainen sopivat niin hyvin yhteen, että niitä voi sekoittaakin lopputuloksen näyttämättä ihan hassulta. Sävyt eivät ole niin pigmenttiset kuin MK solonapit ja tämä ei toki ole magneettinappikaan. Saattaa olla ihan kiva tuote, jos et etsi niin pigmenttistä tuoetta vaan enemmänkin hentoa väriä. Itse taas rakastan pigmenttisiä tuotteita, joten tämän paletin vaaleammat värit olivat "ihan kivat". Tummimmasta ei juuri iloa ollut, ei näkynyt iholla ja en minä lempisiveltimelläni (MAC 217) saanut tuosta pienestä pläntistä edes väriä :D Laitoin varjostukseen siis mustaa (YSL solo). Nea muistaa nyt jatkossa ostaa sitten niitä MK solonappeja vain! LOL

It really looks lovely :) There are two different palettes for sale too: Creme Brulee (brown) & Mint candy (white-pink-turquoise-green). I liked the colors in Mint candy but the pink was in the middle... Pictures below are from www.marykay.fi
