Fashioned in Finland

I had to help the mail (wo)man this morning, our mail box was covered with snow... But it was definitely worth it since I got "a few" packages ;D All pictures are clickable. Piti aamulla auttaa postinaista, kun laatikko oli aivan lumen vallassa... Mutta se kannatti ja sain maksikirjeet heti ;D Kuvat saa klikattua suuremmiksi (kuten aina). A package from Australia, yay! Thank you so much Jacie :D Now I can't say "I never win anything" anymore. LOL Ensin paketti Australiasta, jee! Samples from High Voltage cosmetics : Pikkuisia samplepusseja High Voltagelta: Punk Princess Lipcandy feels very nice (not sticky) and this color was surprisingly wearable! I like :D Punk Princess Lipcandy tuntuu todella mukavalta (ei tahmainen) ja värikin oli ylättävän käyttöke...

And finally, the rest of my TKB micas! Some of these I got from my friend :) Ja lopultakin, viimeiset TKB Trading swatchit tällä erää! Osa tosiaan tuli saatua ystävältä eli siksi näitä on enemmän kuin kuvasin alussa :) My favorites from this picture are: Moonstone mica, Grape pop & swiss chocolate. Ones I don't like much: Aster hue (quality), Sagittarius (quality), Oriental beige (color) and Bronze mica (color, it's too orange-y for me). Suosikkini kuvasta ovat: Moonstone mica, Grape pop & swiss chocolate. Näistä taas en välitä suuremmin: Aster hue (laatu), Sagittarius (laatu), Oriental beige (väri) and Bronze mica (väri, liian oranssihtava makuuni). I was really quite suprised when I heard that Hot Mama is one those colors that many companies sell... I didn't like that color at all. But now I've swatched it myself and it's OMGorgeous! Ihmettelin aiemmin miksi moni firma myy Hot Mama pigmenttiä, sillä en pitänyt sitä todellakaan erityisen nättinä... Mutta...

And here is some more TKB swatches :) I especially liked the quality on the second row. In the first row Soft aqua & Vintage blue didn't feel that good on their own but the second row was so vibrant and pretty! I'll use Pearl green & Coral reef blue tomorrow. More swatches coming hopefully soon :) Ja taas hiukan TKB swatcheja :) Pidän erityisesti kakkosrivin laadusta, aivan ihanat ja hyvin levittyvät. Ekan rivin Soft aqua ja Vintage blue eivät taas olleet parhaimmistoa näin yksinään ainakaan. Huomenna käytän meikissä Pearl Greeniä & Coral reef blueta. Lisää swatcheja tulossa toivottavasti pian :)

When I received my TKB Trading order, Lotsa lime was the color I was most interested in... So I had to try it today! I thought that I must be crazy: buy ingredients and probably never do anything with them. I was so surprised when I tried these, of course some are just ingredients but many can be used with good primer without any problems. Kun sain TKB Trading tilauksen, Lotsa Lime iski heti silmään, joten olihan se pakko testata hetimiten! Ajattelin olevani jo ihan hullu, kun ostan mineraalimeikkien aineksia vaikka en edes aio mineraaleja itse tehdä. Olinkin todella yllättynyt nyt kun näitä testasin, osa toki on vain "aineksia" mutta suuri osa näyttää toimivat ihan hienosti kunnon primerin kera! I now also understand that I was so easy customer in the past: many of these colors seem very unique... I still think you can get better products from great MMU companies like Aromaleigh, Fyrinnae, HiFi Cosmetics, Evil Shades... Please look "Mineral Makeup Mutiny approved" ...

I've been so tired today, hope I won't get sick again... But here is part 1 of my TKB Trading swatches, I hope I have time and energy to swatch the rest soon! Before you get too excited, I must say that some of these are really ingredients not a finished products :) If you want a finished products, please purchase from good MMU companies. TKB Trading is a wholesale company. First the glitters. These were quite gritty and didn't adhere well (uum... at all). I foiled these glitters with Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy for the swatch. I bet these will look fabulous in nail polish :D No niin, tässäpä ensimmäinen osa TKB swatcheistani. Yritän saada loputkin tehtyä mahd. pian, on vain voimat ihan loppu (toivottavasti ei ole mikään pöpö taas iskemässä :P). Ennen kuin ihan liikaa innostutte, niin osa on tosiaan ihan mineraaleimeikkien "lisäaineita", eivät toimi yksinään ja nuo paremmatkin tarvitsevat hyvän primerin. Jos haluat kunnollisen valmiin tuotteen, niitä saa mineraal...

Oh yes, this must be a pigment heaven ;) I got my TKB Trading order today (ordered it 23rd of December). Very professional company and great customer service! Shipping to Finland was 14 USD. I really like the pigments I got and samples are HUGE :D TKB Trading is a wholesale company, so they basically sell to companies who make mineral makeup & other cosmetics. If you are looking for wholesale pigments, you can buy those from Sweetscents too. If you want to start your own mineral makeup company, do not repack these micas. It might sound like great idea but so many does it already... And won't get the best reputation, not anymore! TKB moonstone mica sample baggie in 20g jar! I really understand why somebody could be tempted to just repack this beautiful stuff... But still, don't do it. Even these samples are so big, I could make so many tiny samples from these! Maybe I even will do that someday and make a giveaway to all green/ turquoise lovers. Why for green/turquoise ...
