Midsummer fest is the most celebrated holiday in Finland with Christmas, of course. This time of year we celebrate the longest day, summer solstice. If you are planning to visit Finland at Midsummer, the cities will be empty and all shops closed. I don't wear sunsceens often in Finland, that's because I just don't be in the sun at all and most sunscreens are full of chemicals (and/or greasy and thick), so I don't really even want to use those daily... However we will spend our holiday in Cyprus and I hope there will be sunny and warm. I don't burn easily in the sun but I get even too tanned easily, so I like to avoid sun :D If you are interested in different active ingredients in sunsceens, you can find more info from here . I'm in fact very surprised that not all sunscrens are photostable (here is one link or just google "photostable sunscreen"). I also read that avobenzone (butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane) doesn't work that well with minerals because zink oxide & titanium dioxide make avobenzone less effective :-O My problem is that my skin HATES silicones and practically every single sunscreen contains silicones (including the ones in this post, except the mineral ones). It's always so nice to be back home :D I had fun in Barcelona, what a lovely city with interesting achitecture and while I was there FC Barcelona won La Liga and is now a champion of Spain in football, what a big celebration! I took some pictures of the stuff I take with me when I'm travelling :) I pack lightly, because I want to buy a lot form me and for kids.
