Armani Eyes To Kill silk eye shadow (Blast of Blue) & L'Oreal Infallible eye shadow (Purple Obsession)



I love makeup so when I finally visited Stockmann Helsinki, and the only Armani counter in Finland, I had to get this Eyes to Kill silk eyeshadow. It was so expensive but also the second beautiful eye shadow (after MAC Clarity) I own :D I was also very curious how does this compare to L'Oreal infallible eyeshadows...

Miekkifriikkinä piti tietysti Helsingin reissulla käväistä Stokkan Armani-pisteessä ;) Seurana oli vielä meikkifriikki Saila, joten eihän reissusta hyvää ainakaan lompakolle seurannut!  Ihan pakko oli saada Eyes to Kill-luomiväri, varsinkin kun näki ne upeat värit... Swatchailimme näitä suorastaan hullunkiilto silmissämme. *heh* Saila osti tällaisen ja minä myös, tosin hinta oli erittäin hurja: 38€. Siis oikeasti, huh! Väri tosin on toiseksi kaunein omistamani, MAC Clarityn jälkeen ;). Oli kiva myös ihan itse todeta, onko tämä kovin samanlainen kuin L'Orealin Infallible eye shadowt.

EOTDs: The Armani silk eye shadow was SO shimmery, the lovely golden glitter was visible and also very long lasting! Much nicer irl than in my pictures.

Tämä ihana kultainen kimallus oli näkyvä ja pysyväkin, valitettavasti kuvassa ei yhtään niin ihana kuin luonnossa.

Armani uses glass jar, L'Oreal plastic... I have noticed that usually products stored in glass jars remain moist much longer that the ones in plastic jar.

Armani käyttää lasipurkkeja, Lorkku muovisia... Yleensä tuotteet ovat pysyneet kosteampina pidempään lasipurkissa (esim. geelirajaukset).







The quality feels very similar. The L'Oreal colors are lovely but quite basic, the Armani colors are "duo tone", unique & very gorgeous! I still thing Armani is ridiculously over priced: 38€ here in Finland :-O L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow is 10.90€, but I still think that maybe I'd take rather one Armani than 3-4 L'Oreals. Just because the colors are so beautiful :D


Laatu tuntuu hyvin samalta. L'Orealin värit ovat nätit mutteivät maailman erikoisimmat, Armanin olivat "kaksisävyisiä" ja ihan uskomattoman kauniita! Silti Armanit ovat kyllä naurettavan ylihintaiset (Armani 38€-L'Oreal 10.90€) ja mitään "tavallisen näköistä" en itse merkiltä ostaisi (en vain usko, että olisivat niin paljon paremmat). Mutta toisaalta, ottaisin kuitenkin mielummin yhden tällaisen luomivärin kuin 3-4 Lorkkua, ihan vain koska värit ovat niin upeat :D

    Thank you SO much for the side-by-side comparison! It's sad that we don't have the L'Oreal version in the states, but I love that you made me feel better about that. Haha! It's nice to know they're not as complex as the Armani version. :) xoxo

    Oih, sinä sorruit. ;) Nuo Armanit ovat niin houkuttelevia. En ehkä enää koskaan saa mennä hiplaamaan noita luomivärejä. 'Lust Red' melkein lähti mukaan keväällä. Vastaavaa luomiväriä ei vaan ole tullut vastaan missään.. Ehkä joskus jollain Stockan alennusjutulla voisi harkita. :)

    Way to blame this one on me :D

    Yleensä en voi käyttää voimaisia ollenkaan, pakkuuntuvat ja karkailevat luomivakoon miten sattuu, mutta Armani on tässä suhteessa poikkeus sääntöön! Levittyy nätisti sorminkin (tosin sekä ulko- että sisänurkat siistin siveltimellä) ja pysyy (primerin kanssa) nättinä koko päivän. Tuo hinta kyllä rajoittaa törsäämistä..

shopping in Germany: Alverde & Alterra

Ok, I was in Germany like... in April ;) Well, I bought a lot of Alverde products from DM, the quality is excellent and the prices are VERY affordable! Just a few words about the products and a question. I LOVE Alverde shampoos & conditioners. Most of these products haven't been eco certiified before but I noticed that the Avocado series is now Natrue certified :-O Unfortunately it's not as good as it used to be... Not terrible but not great either, definitely not the product I expected it to be. Yes I know, it's certified now ;) Do you know if Alverde is planning to reformulate all of the shampoos and conditioners? If so, my suitcase will be much lighter in the future. Alverde body butter is THE BEST :D I also like the body lotions. Cranberry hand cream smells SO good... This time I tested some Alterra products from Rossmann too, I must say that I also like these a lot! I tested shampoos, hair conditioner, body lotion, hand cream etc. Just the eye makeup remov...

Mineralissima mineral makeup review

I got some products from Minerallisima for review purpose and for a giveaway :D I have so much mineral makeup that I REALLY can't buy anything anymore so it was great to test a new brand! Mineralissima's website is pleasant to browse and everything seemed very professional. Prices are affordable and so is the shipping. You can also get customer service in Finnish in this company :D And in many other lanquages as well. LOL Tästä postauksesta olisi tullut erittäin sekava kahdella kielellä, joten tällä kertaa vain englanniksi. Hyvä uutinen on se, että Mineralissiman sivut ovat myös suomeksi (ja ei todellakaan google translatella käännetyt ;D). Myös asiakaspalvelua saa Suomeksi! Sivut ovat mukavat selailla ja tuotteet myös todella laadukkaan oloiset.
