MAC Steamy Eyeshadow

After seeing one customer with MAC Steamy (bluish green with gold, frost)  eyeshadow at MAC counter, I HAD TO GET IT. It just looked so gorgeous with that girl, perfect turquoise. Unfortunately it looks less gorgeous on me... It looks a bit dull and more light blue than greenish. Well, not bad but not the best for me.

Käväisin MACillä, kuten hyvin usein tulee tehtyä (olen jo pyytänyt porttikieltoa mutta ei kuulemma onnistu :D), ja näin kun MAC Steamyllä tehtiin upea meikki. Tämä näytti niin upealta sillä asiakkaalla, että ostin värin välittömästi. Valitettavasti väri ei ole minulla niin nätti, taitaa olla liian hillitty sinivihreä minulle? Vähän tylsä väri minulle ja toisinaan näytti ihan vaaleansiniseltä. Outoa. Siis ei toki mitenkään kamala mutta eipä suosikkinikaan :D Täydellinen varmaan monelle, varsinkin jos haluaa hieman hillitymmän sinivihreän/turkoosin!

    I love how it looks in the first EOTD! Maybe try packing it on a tonne? Or using it over a green liner/base.

    I think it looks good too! Though you're right....steamy does look better over primer. I used to use it over the Delft Paint pot or another teal/green cream shadow too, and it pops that way. But there's something to be said for the soft way it looks on you! I used to wish I could get more of the blue to show up!

shopping in Germany: Alverde & Alterra

Ok, I was in Germany like... in April ;) Well, I bought a lot of Alverde products from DM, the quality is excellent and the prices are VERY affordable! Just a few words about the products and a question. I LOVE Alverde shampoos & conditioners. Most of these products haven't been eco certiified before but I noticed that the Avocado series is now Natrue certified :-O Unfortunately it's not as good as it used to be... Not terrible but not great either, definitely not the product I expected it to be. Yes I know, it's certified now ;) Do you know if Alverde is planning to reformulate all of the shampoos and conditioners? If so, my suitcase will be much lighter in the future. Alverde body butter is THE BEST :D I also like the body lotions. Cranberry hand cream smells SO good... This time I tested some Alterra products from Rossmann too, I must say that I also like these a lot! I tested shampoos, hair conditioner, body lotion, hand cream etc. Just the eye makeup remov...

Mineralissima mineral makeup review

I got some products from Minerallisima for review purpose and for a giveaway :D I have so much mineral makeup that I REALLY can't buy anything anymore so it was great to test a new brand! Mineralissima's website is pleasant to browse and everything seemed very professional. Prices are affordable and so is the shipping. You can also get customer service in Finnish in this company :D And in many other lanquages as well.
