I LOVE The light shades Karen from SilkNaturals creates :) So this time I got Restless (UD Virgin copy), Boom (MAC Shroom copy) & vanilla. As you can see from my swatches below, the colors are not exact dupes but I really think these are as nice as the originals!
Pidän todellakin SilkNaturalsin vaaleista sävyistä ja nyt vihdoinkin, pitkän mietinnän jälkeen, päädyin ostaamaan sävyt Restless (UD Virgin), Boom (MAC Shroom) & Vanilla. Kuten swatcheistani voi hyvin huomata, sävyt eivät ole identtiset. Sanoisin silti, että tismalleen saman asian hoitavat kuin alkuperäisetkin :) Varsinkin Boom tulee kovaan käyttöön, kuten MAC Shroom jo onkin.

Glacier lip gloss :D The color is teal, it's sheer so it's wearable. Contains menthol so it feels cooling. Next time i want Creampuff, a cool pink, I got a sample of it in my order.
"Glacier is a very very sheer teal color with bits of aqua glimmer. It's kind of neat on its own, but it's a stand-out when layered over glosses. It takes lippies that would normally be too warm, or too red and makes them more neutral."

And what a pigmentation! Showstopper is a GORGEOUS fuchsia. I want a purple version too, Karen! :D It's so moisturizing too.

I want to order from Silk Naturals so bad but I have a hard time telling myself that I need all those full-sizes especially with all the makeup I already have. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteTykkään myös SN:n neutraaleista, esim. Bone on yksinkertaisuudessaan yksi suosikeistani. Boomista tykkään myös, musta se on vähän lämpimämpi Shroomia. Oikeastaan kiva etteivät ole aivan identtisiä ainakin meille, jotka sattuvat molemmat omistamaan ;)
ReplyDeleteRestless näyttää ihanan samettiselta, täytyy varmistaa et se on wish listilla. Showstopper on ihana mut taitaa olla aika samanlainen kuin Azalea (butter cream). Se violetti Crazy Love on täälläkin ostoslistalla!
Show Stopper looks gorgeous! I *still* need to order from Silk Naturals, they're definitely the next indie company I'll buy from.

ReplyDeleteOMG I need Glacier! *wheezes* I just bought Summer Shower from the MAC Fashion Flower collection and I like that, and I just rediscovered my MAC Chillin Cremesheen Glass. Glacier therefore looks totally up my alley!
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks for the comparison swatches, I had no idea some of the clones were so far off. I own Boom and I still love it though :)
Now I wish I got Showstopper. I got Gigi though, it's lighter but bright too. I love Glacier, it's my favourite SN lipgloss.
