I didn't like the Alverde makeup I bought from Germany last autumn much but now I got products I REALLY like. Yay! Thank you so much, Graphology, for sending these for me :) The colors in this LE collection "My Best Friend" looked just so "me". I liked the quality so much that I want all of the Alverde palettes now. LOL. I can't wait to visit Germany again this spring!

The eyeshadows are matte and pigmented, the colors are lovely! The eyshadows have a quite strong smell, but it's not bad, I just prefer "unscented" ones. Natrue certified.
Luomivärit ovat mattoja ja todella pigmenttisiä, värit upeat! Näissä on aika vahva tuoksu, ei paha, mutta toki vähemmän tuoksuva olisi vielä parempi. Natrue setrifioitu.
Her is the Inci I found from DM website, it might be a liitle different in this color.

Ingredients: Talc, Mica, Magnesium Stearate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Lauroyl
Lysine, Parfum (Essential Oils)**, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*, Bisabolol, Tocopheryl Acetate,
Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract*, Tourmaline, Maltodextrin, [+/- CI 77891, CI 77499, CI
77492, C77491, CI 77007, CI 77742, CI 75470 (Carmin)]
*ingredients from certified organic agriculture, **from natural essential oils"
The lipstick is very nice too. It's soft, not shimmery & the color is a perfect nude. This smell so good, om nom nom. I have to be careful when applying this, it's nude and quite pigmented... It can look unnatural if I apply too much.
Huulipunakin on ihana. Pehmoinen ja kimalteeton, väri on nude. Tuoksuukin ihanalta, nam nam. Täytyy vain olla hieman varovainen, kun tätä laittaa, on tosiaan nude ja saattaa olla aika epäluonnollsien näköinen liikaa laitettuna.

In this look I used colors from the lower row. The primer is Detrivore and I used MAC I get no Kick pencil on tearduct area. The eyeliner is MAC Blacktrack fluidline.
And here I used colors from the first row. The primer is Detrivore and I used MAC I get no Kick pencil on tearduct area. The eyeliner is MAC Blitz&Glitz fluidline.
Do you like Alverde palettes? These are not sold in any webshops but you can find these from Central Europe (not from Finland).

Sandra: I have visited Germany a lot but found Alverde after I read about the brand in other blogs about an year ago. DM shops look "not tempting" from the outside ;)

ReplyDeleteI love the Alverde palettes of the permanent display; but this LE I unfortunately didn't like at all; the colour combinations have not really been "mine".
Have you ever tried the baked eyeshadows of Alverde? These....indeed....they are great!

ReplyDeleteI agree their makeup isn't as good as their skincare, especially compared to all the awesome MMU in the same price range. But it's the only natural makeup we have here, it's cheaper than a lot of drugstore brands and it's good to have some pressed products.
ReplyDeleteI love their eye shadows and plumping lip gloss. Their lip pencil, concealer and finishing powder are OK. I hated the lipstick, but maybe they changed the formula.
Yep, the lipstick is not the best but ok and natural, so for me that is good :D It's a bit dry and therefore maybe not the easiest to apply nicely! The eyeshadows seems to be very nice <3
