iHerb: Avalon organics Biotin B-Complex shampoo & conditioner


One of the best sellers @iHerb, so I had to test Avalon Organics Biotin B-Complex shampoo and conditioner :)

The scent is herbal and strong, personally I don't like it that much... Contains a  lot of essential oils so not for most allergic persons... The shampoo feels quite "regular" but conditioner absorbs to the hair. At first I didn't like the dry & rough feeling conditioner left (like I didn't have any conditioner at all) but when I got used to it, it started to feel ok. If your hair needs moisture, this is not the right product for you, but it's good for fine hair. I have short, normal hair.

These were nice but the scent is just "too much" for me, I'll test other products from Avalon Organics next!

Nämä tuotteet on tarkoitettu hennoille ja ohuille hiuksille, siihen varmasti sopivatkin hyvin. Shampoo on ihan jees, aika "tavallisen" tuntuinen ja vaahtosikin. Tekee mitä shampoon pitääkin tehdä. Hoitoaine taas ei todellakaan lässäytä hiuksia. Toisaalta en itse ihan mahdottomasti pidä tämän tyyppisestä hoitoaineesta: imeytyy hiuksiin, ei jätä mitään tuntua/ selvittävyyttä pinnalle. Jos olet tottunut ekohoitiksiin, tämä tuskin haittaa, ja itsekin siihen jo totuin. Enemmän kosteutta/ hoitavuutta kaipaaville hiuksille tuote ei sovi. Jätti normaalit, lyhyet hiukseni märkänä melkoisen "karkeiksi" ja takkuisiksi mutta kuivuttuaan hiukset olivat pehmoiset ja hoidetun tuntuiset kuitenkin.


Syy miksi en tätä jatkossa osta, on todella voimakas yrttimäinen tuoksu. Ei paha mutta todella voimakas. En siis kovin allergisille suosittele! Itse ajattelin testata sarjasta jotain muita versioita, sen verran hyvä oli kuitenkin :)

    Hmm, eikö tuossa hoitoaineessa ole enää silikonia? Ennen siinä oli aika alkupäässä inciä dimethicone, niin en viitsinyt kokeilla. Mutta hyvä jos ei enää ole, voisi siis testata :)

      Ei tunnu yhtään silikoniselta, että sinänsä uskon nyt silmiänikin :) Välillä nuo Incit listat ovat kyllä niin pitkiä, että silmä saattaa hypätä rivin ohi :D Totuin tähän kyllä, paljon vähemmällä hoitiksella pärjää nykyisin! Silikonipommihoitikset tuntuvat jo ihan kamalilta.

shopping in Germany: Alverde & Alterra

Ok, I was in Germany like... in April ;) Well, I bought a lot of Alverde products from DM, the quality is excellent and the prices are VERY affordable! Just a few words about the products and a question. I LOVE Alverde shampoos & conditioners. Most of these products haven't been eco certiified before but I noticed that the Avocado series is now Natrue certified :-O Unfortunately it's not as good as it used to be... Not terrible but not great either, definitely not the product I expected it to be. Yes I know, it's certified now ;) Do you know if Alverde is planning to reformulate all of the shampoos and conditioners? If so, my suitcase will be much lighter in the future. Alverde body butter is THE BEST :D I also like the body lotions. Cranberry hand cream smells SO good... This time I tested some Alterra products from Rossmann too, I must say that I also like these a lot! I tested shampoos, hair conditioner, body lotion, hand cream etc. Just the eye makeup remov...

Mineralissima mineral makeup review

I got some products from Minerallisima for review purpose and for a giveaway :D I have so much mineral makeup that I REALLY can't buy anything anymore so it was great to test a new brand! Mineralissima's website is pleasant to browse and everything seemed very professional. Prices are affordable and so is the shipping.
