I've wanted to buy this palette for a longer time but I just found it too expensive... Now it was on sale so I bought it :D The eyeshadow feels so smoot and I really like the colors! I thought could create both daytime & evening looks with this so it will be great for travelling too. BUT.
It really was not a high quality palette :/ The lighter colors were ok (the silver felt the more pigmented), but the pink one was SO sheer... I used a ton and it didn't show at all! I applied black to the crease and it looked patchy, I didn't have much time that morning, so I decided to use dark greay from Inglot to cover it. Yep, not planning to use this again, I also won't buy any eyeshadows from TBS for a long time :(
I guess some like these "less intensive" palettes but they are definitely not for me. LOL
Ihan takuulla osa näistäkin pitää, onneksi makuja on monia, mutta itse taidan pitäytyä hieman pigmenttisemmissä versioissa :D

Olin tätä The Body Shopin palettia kuolannut jo pidempään mutta oli mielestäni liian kallis (n. 25€). Nyt se löytyi ale-kopasta ja päätin hankkia sen omakseni :D Laatu tosiaan tuntui kädelle testatessa kivalta ja pehmoiselta. Väritkin olivat ihanat, ajattelin että tällä saa sekä kivoja päivä- että iltameikkejä aikaan. Mutta...
Eipä tämä kovin laadukkaalta sitten tuntunutkaan :/ vaaleimmat sävyt olivat "ihan ok", hopea tuntui parhaalta mutta vaaleanpunainen oli niin läpikuultava... Laitoin ihan älyttömästi eikä silti näkynyt yhtään. Kun taas laitoin mustaa luomivakoon, sain aikaa aika pahasti läikikkään lookin, joten kiireestä johtuen tartuin välittömästi inglotin tummanharmaaseen.

Suoraan sanottuna en juuri ole kiinnostunut tätä enää testaamaan ja pysyttelen taas muutaman vuoden erossa TBS:n luomiväreistä ;)
It looks soo cute. I love the darkest color though, it seems very pigmented.

ReplyDeletebut do not be so critical on the TBS eye shadows, please. for example, I love the cubes eye shadows- super pigmented and very durable. also the line of the duocrome eye shadows, the ones that are like "chameleon" on the eye- are also of a good quality.
this palette, yes, I found it too patchy ad the price/quality, even 50 % off- is really not worth it! I was also thinking on buying it, but instead opted for another cubes palette
Lovely look! Too bad about the palette though. I noticed it was on sale and was planning on checking it out in person and hoping they didn't sell out before I could get to it. Now I know I won't be missing out it they do since I don't go for the sheer shadows.
