Best of 2009!

It's always so nice to make these lists :D So here is my BEST OF 2009. Well, at least some of my new favorites, I always forget many products. LOL

Tässäpä listani vuoden 2009 parhaista löydöistä :D En laittanyt suomeksi, kun suurin osa on kopsattu valmistajien sivuilta.

Primer: Purely Cosmetics, Silk & Pearl Primer for dry skin

-My skin loves Purely primer and I've used it every day since I got it!
-Inci: Pure silk powder, pure pearl powder, mica, caranuba wax, allantoin
-Price: 18.50USD/ 10 g jar

"Composed of pure silk and pearl powders, this facial primer nourishes your skin with amino acids & calcium, hiding your pores, absorbing excess oils and moisturizing your skin to leave a matte and velvety soft texture. Pearl powder has long been known to help heal skin redness, smooth & refine skin texture, and regulate skin discolorations. Allantoin helps increase skin cell rejuvenation. Available in two formulations: Normal - Dry skin and Normal - Oily skin."

Hair product: Redken Woolshake
-a must for my super fine baby hair :D I can't live without this! It's very expensive but worth the money, at least to me. Works best in shorter hair. Serious VOLUME!
-Price: 13.05 GBP (LookFantastic) or 29.90€ (salons in Finland)/ 100 ml

"Cotton infused gel slush"

Eyeliner: MAC Fluidlines (Blacktrack, Dipdown, Blitz&Glitz)
-The best gel liner I've tried.

"Ultra-smooth, Fluidline’s gel formula provides the precision of a liquid liner with a silkier, softer finish. Goes on “foolproof” with a brush in an easy dip-and-stroke action. Long-wearing. Smudge-proof."

Lip gloss: MAC Cremesheen lip glass
-And I don't even like lips glosses :D I love the color but the inci is not that nice :P I prefer natural ingredients.
-price: 22€ in Finland
-I just got lip glosses from Suds n Sass and I really like these too, maybe Suds n Sass in my own color (see my previous posts ;) is even nicer that MAC!

"A lip finish that fuses the creamy, sheen-filled nature of Cremesheen Lipstick with the shine of M∙A∙C Lipglass. Soft, comfortable, non-sticky. Applies with a doe-foot applicator."

Corrector: Make up Store Cover all mix (Cover all blue)
-well, covers all :D Great for my dark under eyes. Formula is very dry & pigmented, I sometimes mix this with Aromaleigh Just the balm ma'am-lip balm.
-29 € (Cover all blue separately 18 €)

"Cover All Mix is a high pigmented concealer that neutralizes and covers. The yellow concealer covers red areas such as spots and blood vessels. The orange-red concealer covers blue areas like dark rings under the eyes. The beige concealer lightens up skin tones and the other to concealers. It is also perfect as a primer for your eyeshadows."

Eyeshadow primer: Detrivore
-I've used this (almost) daily since I got this! Makes pigments pop. The BEST I've ever tried!
-Price: 6 USD/ 5 g jar
-Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide, Yellow Oxide, Mica, Glycerine, Castor Seed Oil, Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol, Olive Fruit Oil, Beeswax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Gycine Soybean Lipids, Lauryl Saurate, Carnauba Wax, and Candillia Wax.

"Eye Shadow primer from Detrivore Cosmetics is soft and creamy. Just a tiny amount can help keep your shadow on all day. It is designed to help adhere loose eye shadow, glitters, and pigments. It is also somewhat water resistant, although not water proof.

The Eye Shadow Primer from Detrivore Cosmetics is safe and natural. This is a handmade formula that took months of effort, experiments, and research. I believe that my shadow primer is one of the best natural primers for sale. There will be imperfections because it is hand blended and poured. "

Lip balm: Aromaleigh Aromatherapy lip balms
-Moisturizing, smells divine and no nasty ingredients! My favorite is French Cocoa Bliss, yummy! My kids love these too.
-price 4.85 USD
-inci: Prunis dulcis Oil, Apis mellifera (Beeswax), Butyrospermun parkii (Shea) Butter, Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) Butter, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Limnanthes alba (Meadowfoam) Oil, Oenothers biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Persea americana (Avocado) Butter, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Rosa mosqueta (Rosehip) Oil, Aloe barbadensis (Aloe) Oil, Fragrance

Mineral foundation: Sassy Minerals:
-I love this non-drying formula with buildabe/heavy coverage.
-Price: 14 USD/ 25 g jar
-Inci: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Boron Nitride, Iron Oxides

"Matte, not flat - that's our motto. Foundation should leave your skin feeling light and creamy, not greasy or dusty. Our mineral foundations use natural ingredients that actually improve your skin by soothing away any irritation and helping protect you from UV rays. No clogged pores or mysteriously melting makeup here! And you get all this from a powder foundation? Genius!"

Perfume: Estee Lauder Sensuous
-I love this warm, feminine scent!

"features notes of ghost lily accord, magnolia, jasmine petals, molten woods, amber, sandalwood, black pepper, juicy mandarin pulp and honey. It starts out rich and syrupy and sweet — it is vaguely reminiscent of the spiced stewed fruits opening that characterizes so many Serge Lutens fragrances, albeit done here in a lighter, less exotic cast " From NST.

Mascara: LashStiletto waterproof
-I didn't like the regular version at all but this wp is my favorite mascara now! I really like the long and slim brush, holds the curl very well.

"Exclusive Grip & Extend brush grasps each lash to separate and lengthen from every angle"

Some mineral eyeshadows:
-Evil Shades Double Barrel (dark grey)
-Aromaleigh May Lily (light greenish color)
-HiFi Tell Me Lies (golden white)
-The she space Fashioned in Finland, of course ;) (warm green)
-Mum Mum's Ewa Beach (turquoise)
-Stardust cosmetics Cashmere mittens (beige)
-Suds n Sass Lemon Lime (lime)
-Sassy Crown Jewels (multi-colored sparkle)
-Fyrinnae Anemone (light blue)
-Ninja Minerals Nea (yellow green, wasn't named after me but it's "so my color" :D)

Mineral Blushes:
-Evil shades Burlesque (peach)
-Meow canna
-Aromaleigh Gothic Lolitas, all 3 colors!
-sassy Zealous

  2. Moikka Emma :)

    Pixie:
I really love that primer! It might not work on oily lids so well, a least not without other primer (like Too Faced insurance).
