Here is just a few pictures how to use Konad. It's really very easy!
Tässä muutama kuva, miten Konadilla pääsee alkuun. On tosiaan helppoa!
1.
You will need: paper to cover the desk, oil free nail polish remover (acetone is fine), cotton ball, nail polish, stamper, scraper & plate. You can make new stamper less smooth with nail file, the picture will adhere better after that :)
Tarvitset paperin pöytää suojaamaan (sanomalehti on ok), öljyttömän kynsilakanpoistajan (ihan asetoni käy hyvin), pumpulia, kynsilakan, stamper-leimasimen, scraperin & Konad-laatan. Stamperia voi karhentaa ennen käyttöä kynsiviilalla, näin kuvio tarttuu siihen paremmin.
2.
Cover the picture in the plate with nail polish. Now you have to be quick, no time for photos ;)
Kynsilakkaa kuvion päälle. Nyt täytyy olla nopea, ei aikaa kuvien ottamiselle ;)
3.
Use the scraper.
Pyyhkäse kerran scraperilla.
4.
Now you just have to put the stamper to your nail :D
Ja sitten vain leima kynnelle!
5.
Ready! This NOTD was also my inspiration for today's makeup, I used Aromaleigh Dollhouse (definitely a must have, if you use purples!) & Anastasia. My mom is so used to my makeup, she rarely even notices what I'm wearing, but she said this looks VERY nice :)
Valmis! Kynnet olivat inspiraationa päivän meikille, käytin Aromaleighin Dollhouse (todella ihana sävy!) sekä Anastasia pigmenttejä. Äitini on jo meikkeihini niin tottunut, ettei juurikaan kommentoi, mutta tätä sanoi todella nätiksi :)
-Detrivore primer
-AL Dollhouse (lid)
-AL Anastasia (crease, lower lashline)
-AL Sand (browbone)
-MAC Blacktrack fluidline
-LashStiletto wp
Thanks for looking :)

Thanks for posting this. I had wondered how the Konad thing worked. Cool.
ReplyDeleteAnd you picked out two beautiful AL purples... I love Dollhouse and Anastasia!
Great tutorial for Konad - thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou can find good (and much longer) tutorials but I think it's enough to know the basic and then just try how it works :D I REALLY recommend Konad. *love*
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tutorial! I've been thinking of getting myself one of the those plates. :) Purple eyes, awesome! I love purples on the eyes!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this tutorial. I've always wondered how it was done but was too lazy to look on youtube for videos. This explained it so well.
ReplyDeleteLove the eye look and the nails. :)
Witoxicity:
ReplyDeleteThanks, you should get these plates!
LT:
Thank you :D
Thank you, I was curious about Konads!
ReplyDeleteThis look is very pretty! I tried using Konad but the images kept getting messed up on my nails >:[
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks for doing that tutorial. Your blog was my first exposure to it, and I really appreciate the extra info. <3
ReplyDeletenow if only those kits werent so RIDICULOUSLY expensive...
ReplyDeleteI love your nails <3
Short, simple tut! very nice =)
Your eyes look so gorgeous! ;), is always nice to watch the konad technique.
ReplyDeleteRebecca:
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it :)
Heather:
I had (and still have) a problem how place the stamper to the nail... I guess practice makes perfect :D
Painted Moogle:
You're welcome :)
Bhevarri:
I think those kits are not necessary. I have a few Konad nail polishes but I prefer regular ones! So stamper+scaper set and plates are enough :) I have also image plate holder but I don't use it.
Arie:
Thank you :D
Your eyes look amazing!
ReplyDeleteAlso i'm sorry but i didn't understand how you get the design from the plate onto the stamper?
Lillian Funny face:
ReplyDeleteThank you :) Oh, my English is not the best... And I forgot that picture :D But just put the clean stamper to the plate->picture is in the stamper.
How cool! It looks like something even a klutz like me could do. Yes? Or do you need some modicum of dexterity instead of all thumbs?
ReplyDeleteRobyn:
ReplyDeleteEven a klutz like me can do, so YES :D
Beautiful eye combo - I love it! You have really gorgeous eyes ;)
ReplyDeleteVanessa:
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :D
